Yew Tree Nursery and Preschool, located in a beautiful and historic building, providing care for children from 3 months to 5 years old, as well as offering After School Care and Holiday Clubs for children at school ages. We believe that all children have the right to learn in a caring, supportive and safe environment and therefore work hard to provide our children the best start of their early education.
With many years Early Years' experience, our staff are friendly, loving and passionate about delivering high quality care. Many of our staff have also achieved Degree Level in Early Years Education, which is above required qualification. Our Early Years Teacher with vast knowledge and experience in Early Years, is fully dedicated to our children's learning and development.

Services
At Yew Tree Nursery our aim is to make children feel nutured as well as stimulated in a warm and friendly environment, in which learning through play is the cornerstone of our ethos. We offer safe and secure rooms with appropriate provision for children from 3 months to five years old in our newly renovated building.
The Early Year Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old. It supports an integrated approach to early learning and care. It gives all professionals a set of common principles and commitments to deliver quality early education and childcare experiences to all children.
Local Offer Our Local offer sets out the service and provision offered by Yew Tree Nursery for children who have special educational need and/or disability. 15 hours funded Childcare; all children are eligible of 15 hours of funded childcare the term after their 3rd birthday. When my little girl started at Yew Tree she was 2.5 years old. We had previously been to see two other nursery's and she clung to me throughout the whole of those visits. Within 30seconds of walking into Yew Tree she was off playing with the other children. Seeing her so comfortable and happy let me know that this was the perfect place for her. She is now 4 and still absolutely ADORES preschool. She comes home beaming telling me of all the fun things she has learnt today. I cannot recommend this nursery/preschool enough. The staff are absolutely wonderful and are always beyond happy to answer any

Our daughter has been here for 15 months now and Yew Tree has provided amazing support for us and our daughter. Our daughter has learnt so much and progressed so well since being at Yew Tree.
Staff are always there to help with a kind attitude and they really love the kids!
The nursery is very clean 😊 since we have be attending the nursey have decorated and changed the learning environment to challenge the children to learn more.

Yew Tree Nursery is a fantastic setting for allowing young children to develop, learn a grow. The facilities are excellent and the staff are first class - including the management and admin staff. When at work, I have the ultimate peace of mind that my children are being well cared for whilst enjoying an array experiences on their journey of self discovery. The nursery also teach core values such as the importance of healthy eating and an active lifestyle. Perhaps most importantly though, my children absolutely love their time at nursery.

My daughter has been at Yew Tree Nursery since she was 1 year old and it's a fantastic nursery. The babies up until the age of 2 are upstairs and the staff up there are amazing, especially Kelly who was my daughters key person, always did lots of crafts with things you could take home that they had done. My daughter is now downstairs which is split into two age groups. She loves coming here and loves their garden. Would definitely recommend this nursery. My daughters now over 2.5 years old.

Amazing nursery! All three of my children have gone here, two of them from 4 months. The care they receive is fantastic and the staff are so lovely- and trustworthy. The staff spend a lot of time getting to know each individual child and can tell you things about your child that only you thought you'd picked up on :)
