Services
All the other staff have a childcare qualification and all staff are first aid trained. All staff work closely together, which gives the nursery a warm, friendly, family like feel for all the children and parents. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information and to arrange a visit.
Children are very much welcomed and valued by the friendly, qualified staff who provide an exciting range of play activities, which overall effectively supports each child's individual developmental needs and interests very well.

Yeovilteenies Day Nursery will provide fun, educational and messy activities for your child. We provide aprons for the messy activities but we cannot be held responsible for any stained clothing: Children come to the Nursery to enjoy themselves and have fun! It is important to develop your child's independence skills, and as such we help them with managing their own clothes and shoes.
How do we identify children with SEN? All children are observed and monitored using the Early Years Foundation Stage, Development Matters, Every Child's a Talker (ECAT), and tracker forms. All children aged between 2 and 3 years have a developmental check which parents are invited to share with their health visitor.
To access a place at the nursery one parent must be in the Armed Forces or a MOD Civil Servant and employed, based or parented at RNAS Yeovilton. Written evidence of the parent's place of work i.e. assignment order, PPA posting transfer notice or a letter from the parent's Line Manager must be forwarded to the Nursery Manager along with the admission application form.
The Nursery provides breakfast, mid-morning and afternoon snacks plus a nutritious and wholesome lunch. Children in the Rainbow Room can access their cafe throughout the morning at times of their own choosing; this helps to support their own independence. Children in the Bumble Bee room join together for meals and snacks to make these times sociable as they can engage with both their peers and the staff.
