Following the latest Welsh Government review, we are pleased to say that golf can be played, at Betws-y-coed Golf Club, by adhering to the following guidelines. Please follow these guidelines - act responsibly and safely - and most importantly enjoy playing golf again! With the River Conwy meandering around it's perimeter, the course is widely acknowledged as "The Jewel of the Nines".
Located on the valley floor, the course itself is not hilly thus making for an enjoyable, though not taxing, walk. Although relatively short, in terms of yardage, there is no doubt that the layout will provide a test to golfers of all abilities. Actually concentrating on your game may well prove to be the greatest challenge as you take in the stunning scenery.

Services
Betws-y-coed Golf Club was founded in 1977, and in the succeeding 40 years has developed a fantastic reputation based on the warmth of welcome you will find upon visiting the club. The nine hole course boasts perhaps the most idyllic location of any that you could find whilst golfing in North Wales.
Although officially founded in 1977, Betws-y-coed Golf Club's roots can be traced back much further, and with some interesting twists and turns along the way. Golf in Betws-y-coed, and in fact around the vicinity of the current course, can be traced back to 1912 when plans were drawn up for a course on "Royal Oak Farm" and an appeal was made for members.
Betws-y-coed Golf Club boasts a beautiful clubhouse set next to the River Conwy, which overlooks the ninth green. On a warm summer's day there are not many better places to sit and relax than on the club's veranda, as you sit and watch players putt out. The clubhouse itself houses a fully-seated restaurant and large barroom with a generous selection of refreshments available.
The main purpose of the club is to provide facilities for, and to promote participation in the amateur sport of Golf in Betws-y-Coed and the area of the Conwy Valley. Membership of the club shall be open to anyone interested in the sport on application, regardless of sex, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs, except as a necessary consequence of the requirements of Golf.
Nestled besides the banks of the River Conwy, Betws-y-coed Golf course boasts a beautiful 9-hole, Par 64, parkland layout which provides a true test for golfers of all abilities. The 9 hole layout is played twice over, with some slight variation on tee positions between the two circuits (as seen on the course layout and card, below).
