Bangor St Deiniol's Golf Club
Bangor St. Deiniol Golf Club is considered as one of the premier golf courses in North Wales. St Deiniol is set overlooking the city of Bangor with unprecedented views of Anglesey, Snowdonia and the North Wales coast. This 18 hole course can certainly be an interesting experience especially first time around!

The Club was founded in 1906 and is part of the James Braid circuit. Visitors, Societies and Corporate Customers will find a traditional club with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We are able to offer a relatively challenging course, a clubhouse with majestic views, a Golf Shop to offer guidance and equipment along with clubhouse staff who are eager to make your visit memorable.
Services
On a fine calm day at Conwy which was very wet with most bunkers overflowing with water from the recent rainfall. The greens were in fact very quick and tricky for the players, a good result could clinch the title. The matches were fiercely contested with good wins for both Ray and Iwan, Elgan also came back well to win 2/1 on the last 4 holes.
A very warm welcome to the Ladies' section at St Deiniol (Bangor) Golf Club who are keen to welcome new members. We are a small, friendly and successful group and it doesn't matter if you have played golf before or want to learn the game. The course is suitable for all and contrary to popular belief, there is no need to be a 3-legged goat to play at Bangor!
15 pairs took part and the second placed pair of John Davies and Alan Tudor Jones who scored 42 points are on standby in case Nick or Neil is unable to play in the Final. There is no Regional qualifier. I have spoken to the SLICS through Arwyn Oliver and they are keen to take part, which should give us reasonable numbers.
As I take the office as Captain of St Deiniol Golf club, I would like to congratulate John on a great year as captain, and for all the support he gave me as Vice Captain.

As the outgoing Vice I must give great thanks to all who played in the Norman Brooks team, they all gave their very best in all their matches, and for all the hard work that both Sian and Paul put in, to give us superb food, and to all the other clubs caterers, who all provided great food.
If you would like two, three or more numbers then you can - this will increase your chance of winning. A winner will be drawn weekly, the winning number and amount won will be published on the web site and posted in the club house. Once you are a paid up member of the Deiniol Draw, you can make suggestions on how the fund money is spent around the club, all suggestions will be considered by the Draw committee.

We played Bangor St Deiniol Golf Club today in a match. The members there are so friendly and made us all very welcome. The first thing you see from the club is it's magnificent views of Snowdonia and over the… Irish Sea, it's simply breathtaking. The course was in excellent condition, lush and well kept and as the course is on a hillside were told it drained well in the winter months. The clubhouse is spacious and would be a perfect venue for a special occasion, this in tow with the delicious food served by the caterers. From what I saw of the pro shop it was well stocked with clubs, clothing

Good parkland course greens were fast. Course was showing signs of wear and tear this year. Strange Professional not about on a busy open day.

Fantastic course, quite challenging for the average player. Greens are first class and fairways reasonably forgiving. Great views on a good day. Seems to have had considerable amount of work done over the last year improving the drainage, layout and pathways. Pro shop has been upgraded with a good range of goods, the new Professional is very nice and helpful. Bar serves a pretty decent pint of Guinness, food is good and reasonably priced, found the staff helpful and friendly. Several noticeable changes to the club since last year but most definitely for the better.

Warm welcome and 18 very different holes of golf. Up on Bangor Mountain, the terrain is all natural and there are fantastic views of the North Wales coast, Menai Straits and the mountains of Snowdonia. It's not the longest course in the area, but it's a true test of golf.

A very tasty meal with well distanced and screened areas, following a one way system. Portions huge and staff friendly. We were guests so I am not sure if you can just ring up and book, without having a golf club member with you. 10 main courses to choose from and two specials. Most £10 with steak £17 and a special at £13.95. About 4 starters and 4 desserts to choose from, if you can have room for them.

Really good parkland course. Challenging layout. Par fours were a mix of long and short holes. Fairways and greens in very good condition. Nice meal in clubhouse but they were brought our society's meals before everyone was seated, impacting the ambience and rushing us. That's why I'm dropping it a star here.

First class Golf course and club. The greens staff are doing a great job with the presentation and condition of the course. The bar and restaurant provide quality food and beverages, served efficiently by friendly staff. Hope to visit again in the not- too- distant future.
