Silver Birch Golf Club or Betws Yn Rhos Golf Club is a picturesque 18 hole golf course situated in the hills above the Beautiful North Wales Coast Line. Bryn & Menna Jones created Silver Birch Golf Club from their redundant farmland with the help of Mr Howard Davies of ADAS, an agricultural advisory board, and Mr Stewart Finney who designed the course.
They diversified out of farming long before it became fashionable to do so. In the early 90's there was nowhere for young people or adults to play Golf. They felt intimidated by their lack of knowledge, of the rules, the etiquette and had no idea how to play Golf. They didn't want to spend money joining a Club without finding out if they liked to play.

Services
The object of the game is to get the ball into the hole using only your feet in the fewest number of shots. Footgolf is a very 'addictive' sport - it combines the best of football and golf, two of the most popular sports in the world. The beauty of the game lies in your being able to strategically combine power and precision every time you play footgolf.
The mainstay of Silver Birch Golf Club are the 'Pay & Play' Golfers but we've listened to their plea of 'wanting to become members'. Membership of Silver Birch G.C. gives you full use of the golf course and makes you eligible for our Monthly Members Competitions. The Anuual Competition Day will be held in September with Winners Presentations to follow.

First time on an 18 hole course and loved it. Although the putting was challenging for me today. The course is fantastic and challenging for beginners. Picturesque course with a great view to the ocean on the second 9 holes. 6th hole over the canyon is a great challenge for both distance and accuracy. Fully intend to go again and may even make it my local 18. Hoping to score lower rounds.
Well maintained course with friendly clubhouse staff with plenty to offer with equipment and refreshments , all at excellent and fair prices.
