Alex has played competitive sport his whole life. Introduced to Yoga by his cousin whilst preparing for a swimming race in Italy, he was fascinated to discover a vigorous physical activity that didn't involve competition. Yoga helped him discover the power of synchronising breath and movement and how breath control (pranayama) could powerfully influence one's mental state.

I have been practicing Yoga for just over 3 years, but Covid meant I had a 1 1/2 year period of only online practices. Back in October I decided it was time to change that and joined THoY. What a great decision! The instructors are first class, the facilities are very good and the atmosphere is fantastic. The time table is also very good, and there is a fair choice of classes. I recommend unreservedly.

Missing House of Yoga like crazy and can’t wait to come back soon! Such a great, warm and passionate team. The classes are amazing and teachers incredibly varied. I love the power flow classes with Juliet and Monika for a really good sweat and reenergise! I was relatively new to yoga when I started and have found the practice really rather life changing

This review is of the recently opened Fulham studio. It’s a gorgeous, calming space. The studio is infrared heated, which is completely different to the type of oppressive heat found in Bikram studios. Instead, it’s like artificial sunlight, without the glare or harmful uv light but with all the nourishing warmth. All the classes I have tried are excellent, the instructors are experienced with spot on cues and adjustments.
Before joining THoY, I was with a studio gym for years and was afraid that I would miss the variety of classes offered once I quit that gym but it’s been 3 weeks and I

The House of Yoga is more than a Yoga studio. Personally, it is like my second home. The strong sense of community that is warm, friendly and welcoming is what made me come back throughout the year and a half of practising here. All of the lovely teachers present their uniqueness and passion for yoga and life in their classes. This place changed the way I practice yoga, which before was mostly a physical practice. I am now more aware of how I bring yoga to my daily life.

I absolutely love coming to the House of Yoga, it's like coming home to yoga. I feel comfortable on my mat, I get to explore new poses and I get to focus on me. The teachers are incredibly supportive, they look after you and help you improve your practice. It's a breath of fresh air every time I come. Natasha

As I've just moved to Putney and live only a few minutes away from House of Yoga, I tried it out the other day after buying their intro pass. I've been to two classes so far -- both of which were excellent but very full. However, there was still room to move properly and it didn't feel cramped. Everyone on reception has been really lovely and helpful. Overall, great experience and lovely warm and welcoming studio with caring teachers.

There are a variety of classes and times that enable you to find a class that suits you and every teacher is very attentive at making sure you are performing each pose properly, whilst making it fun and not at all intimidating- even if you fall over they congratulate you on trying which is great encouragement and not what I have come across at other yoga places I have tried. The space is beautiful and relaxing with a calm vibe. If in the future I become confident enough to train as a teacher, House of Yoga seems like the perfect place to do it, as every teacher has been really amazing and knowledgeable

As soon as you walk into their studio, you feel part of the House of Yoga Family! Everyone is so welcoming, the space has a wonderful energy and they have classes to suit all levels. As a relative newbie, I never feel intimidated and the teachers always go that extra mile. Give yourself the gift of an amazing practice during the chaotic festive season.

I really love The House of Yoga. It has become home from home and a haven for me, in this often hectic, anonymous city of ours. There is yoga here for every level, the teachers are some of the best in London, and there is a real commitment to nurturing and developing individuals wherever they are on their yoga journey and whatever their reasons for wanting to practice. I remember starting here, never having practised yoga before and with some severe post-operative injuries, and being really nurtured by the team at the studio on my journey to recovery. I've made lifelong friends and found a practice

The space is super clean and full of energy. It seems like they have a nice flow of opperations with an added bonus of a fresh café with juices and snacks pre/post class. I have only been to one, but bought their amazing beginners package and will be back as many times as I can get there in the next 30 days. I'll check back to update as to what more I learn. So far, a good first impression!

I found The House of Yoga last January. I knew I liked yoga, but every time i had tried this practice, I founded it too boring or too yippies or too grandmas. The House of Yoga instead is a place I deeply love. Yoga can be as challenging and sporty as you want to push. The place is cozy, clean and quite trendy (with the exception of the hairdryers that are not exceptional). You have a wide choice of teachers, so it is easy to find the ones that match your personality. Studio's team and members are young, sporty and inspiring. The only problem of this place : you become easily addict to it.

How happy was I to discover The House of Yoga just up the road from me, and how much happier was I to discover that it was vinyasa flow-style yoga in a hot room. This is not Bikram yoga fainty hot but nice and muscle-relaxing hot.
For this I am more than willing to get to class for 6.30a.m. most mornings. That's how much I love it! The class is only an hour long which is perfect for me as i'm not into workouts that last longer than that. This body says, "HELL NO!". But if you want the longer class then they are there for the taking and all the teachers are excellent and very

Sometimes when you really wish for something, it's surprising when it actually comes true!
I was hoping for a hot yoga studio to pop up in Putney for years. Not that I mind going up to Parsons Green or Clapham but it's so much nicer it is just down the road. This studio focuses on hot power yoga so if you're thinking Bikram, it's quite different. It's more of a vinyasa flow class in a hot room - and only goes up to about 30 degrees so it isn't actually that hot compared to bikram studios. The classes flow quite nicely and provide options for the real newbie and
