Howard Winchester Hotel
To keep everyone updated, we have taken the opportunity to do some re decorating and refurbishment work at the hotel, along with changing some room configurations and bathrooms. In the meantime, from Lina and Tom and all the staff at the Howard Winchester, please stay safe. Set in a pretty garden Square, the Howard Winchester has been converted from three Georgian houses provide 48 en-suite rooms.

Popular attractions close to the hotel include London Markets (Camden Market is just 2 stops on the tube) and of course the Howard Winchester is centrally located to many of the better known London Hospitals including Great Portland Street and Great Ormond Street.
Services
St Pancras and Kings Cross are located just to the north of Central London whilst still being in zone 1 on the Underground enabling the leisure and business traveller to get the most out of their stay in London. St Pancras International, for national rail and Eurostar is a five minute walk away. Kings Cross Underground, which is even closer, provides easy access to the whole of London.

It is a nice cosy room but the bathroom door is useless its basically a shower door been stuck on.
For some reason they always want you to leave the key at front desk everytime you leave which is very strange and asked why never got a answer it's not bad for the money but the bathroom was a big issue as it has no privacy.

This is a budget hotel in London, so bear that in mind. But what a great little find. Some quirky furnishings to make it contemporary. Carpet a bit old. Ingenious use of space for the en suite. The staff were nice and friendly and breakfast was fabulous. A brilliant budget place to stay with all you need.

Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff.
More precisely:
BREAKFAST
You can have it in the underground dinning room. There are three fantastic young ladies as waiters: kind, nice, smiling... they are doing an excellent job (Congratulations!) offering you English breakfast (unfortunately the hotel offers no fresh vegetables: no salad, no tomatoes...) or milk and cereals, butter, roasted bread, jam, Nutella.
No vegetables at all, no fruits at all :(
ROOMS
Modest, small "family room". No hair dryer. No refrigerator. No table. One single chair for 4 persons.
The bathroom has glass door :

Nice little hotel. Room small but functional, very clean. Offers a big breakfast. I just had coffee an toast but the other guests looked very pleased with their English breakfast. I arrived in the early AM and had no trouble checking in. Be advised - steep stairs, not suitable for people with disabilities. All in all a very good experience.

Rooms are VERY old had bad moldy smell - we had to sleep with the window open all the time, you can hear the people in the room above walking, shower water stream was very weak, TV remote was broken. breakfast was minimal and not so tasty in my opinion (sausage has flour taste and bacon had no taste at all) service was OK. location is great.

Altogether a good Hotel. It is completely worth the money and I can just recommend it to everybody. The rooms are maybe small but perfect for a 5-day city trip. The staff is nice and the breakfast is tasty. On the one hand you got the central position which means that everything you need is nearby, but on the other hand its completely quiet because it´s not at a big street. There are also many typical English and also completely recommendable Pubs nearby.
The one missing star is because the walls let you her a bit much and because the rooms were bit to small, especially the bathroom.

Our stay with this hotel was great! You can literally see Kings cross station when you stand outside the hotel - 2 minute walk! The staff are all extremely nice. They accommodated early check in and super early check out. The lady even prepared breakfast in time for our early check out at 6:20am. Easy to ask for extra toiletries. It was clean and felt safe. Everything we needed and wanted for our stay in London

Clean hotel room and very friendly staff. Only negative point in my opinion is the fact that the bathroom floor got very slippery towards the toilet because there was no separate shower compartment. However; breakfast was good and served quickly so I am satisfied.

We got to check in, polite lady on desk. Reception area small but modern looking.
We were given room 9 on the second floor, walking up to the room, the stairs have old carpet on and are quite steep, there is no lift.
Very small stairway.
The room was clean, but was very small, it was very warm but a fan was provided if needed. Decor very dated and seemed like my granny's flat.
The shower room (not bathroom) was VERY small, the sink was outside in the bedroom area. Two towels and a small bar of soap provided, with two sachets of shower gel. Toilet bowl itself was brownish at the bottom .

Overall, good value for money. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from King's Cross. The bed is very comfortable and a bit bigger than a standard single bed. The breakfast is a full English breakfast and was included in the room price. I do have to mention that the single room is VERY small, and the stairs are quite narrow so it's a bit difficult to get a large/heavy suitcase up to the second floor.
