We can offer anything from a quick nail trim, a simple wash and brush out, to a full groom. We are members of The Pet Care Trust & The British Dog Groomers Association. We also firmly believe in the totally natural approach and ONLY USE HOLISTIC PRODUCTS WHICH CONTAIN NO CHEMICALS and which are both good for your pet and also the environment.

Services
Happy Hounds has been established for nearly 20 years and is well known and respected in the local community. The business was acquired by me in 2012 and given a total refurbishment so that the facilities now being offered are clean, secure and up to date, with modern bathing and grooming areas, ensuring that we can offer the best possible relaxing experience for the dogs that visit us, whilst also satisfying the needs of you the Owners!
Keith spends the majority of his time at our home in the Forest of Dean with Dolly our miniature Parti Poodle and Oscar & Zsa Zsa our chocolate labs who are always happy to have new friends come to visit and stay. He is retired and is a very experienced dog owner who happily fills his days with his canine friends.

What to say?
When I first took Cleo to Happy Hounds back in August I was approaching despair as my usually sweet little terrier had developed a complete aversion to being groomed and would transform into a snarling banshee at the merest sight of a clipper!
She had become too problematic for others to groom, so I asked my vet for advice. To be honest I thought a sedative was the only way to go, but he told me about Happy Hounds (and Joe) and stated his confidence that they would be able to handle Cleo's tantrums/fears.
And they have - although as Joe would say, Cleo (and no doubt her owner!)

Joe did such a lovely job with our little Dolly who is a young Maltipoo! So caring and kind after a traumatic experience elsewhere. Her cut is just perfect and she looks absolutely adorable (even more so than before if that’s possible!)

Our very long haired puppy Finn had a thorough groom after waiting all through lock down. Despite being matted and it being his first proper groom he came home looking like a new dog, very professionally done and still with a bit of character and style. Most of all he was so happy and didn't seem to be stressed by the experience at all, he was happily running around the salon when we picked him up. A big thank you, we will be back.

Having moved back to Hillingdon I was looking for a groomer for my 5 year old miniature labradoodle, who was more used to a mobile groomer, so knew this was going to be a fairly new experience for him. Joe greeted him straight away and fully engaged with him the whole time while we were talking about what sort of cut I was looking for. I felt more than comfortable leaving him. I was sent a message when Toby was ready and picked up a very happy, well cut boy. Thank you Joe, I'm happy to say we've found a new groomer.

Joe you are a star.
We have been using Happy Hounds Salon for over five years and Joe is the only person I know that can turn a pig’s ear into a silk purse.
My little bichon Daisy is always happy to go to the salon for her day out and comes home looking and smelling a million times better than when she leaves home. Without Joe’s expertise, my little Daisy would resemble a weed!
Joe is so professional, knowledgeable, approachable and hilariously funny :-) and is always willing to answer any concerns I have about Daisy, he is never put off by just how grubby this tiny white fur-ball can become

Joe and his team are absolutely wonderful with my dog. They demonstrate a real love and understanding of all dogs. You can see it in the way that the canine customers mingle happily together either waiting their turn or waiting to be collected. Until recently, when we sadly lost one of our westies, both went to Happy Hounds on a regular basis. I always know that my dog will come home looking beautiful and not at all stressed by the experience. Early opening hours are also such a bonus. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
