We are a family of dog lovers, who are happy to open our home to well behaved and social dogs while their owners are at work, or on holiday. There are two dogs in our lives who are 'rescues' and are indispensable members of our family. Firstly, Didi, our 12 year old mongrel from Hong Kong who we adopted at the age of 4-5 weeks old while living in Hong Kong several years ago.
Then, just over 7 years ago we adopted Duba, a Staffie, from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. You will not find a more sensitive or soft dog. I have been a dog owner since my teens so I have more than just a "few years" experience of walking and looking after dogs. Meg's Doggy Daycare was opened in 2016, and in that time we have taken care of many different breeds of dogs, all with their own unique characters.

I understand that as a dog owner it is very important for you to find someone you trust and your dog likes before you would consider handing your dog over into their care. At Meg's Doggy Daycare I insist on an initial Meet and Greet, followed by a trial session to make sure that you are comfortable leaving your dog in my care and your dog is happy to be left with me, whether it is on a daycare or boarding basis.
Dogs are as individual as we are. So at Meg's Doggy Daycare I take into consideration each dog's personality, size and age when putting a group together for a walk. A dog will only be walked off lead with signed permission by you, it's owner. I encourage a dog to be walked off lead if possible, as this allows a dog to maximise it's walk by running, sniffing and socialising with other dogs.
This was our first time leaving Tilly & Dexter with someone we didn't know but the experience has been good. We would not hesitate to ask Megan again. The regular updates via photos and even small video of our dogs provided comfort to my wife and I that they were in safe hands. Absolutely great as our dog was agitated when we left him, but Megan dealt with him kindly and calmly.
In 2018 the Animal Welfare Act was introduced to protect the welfare of dogs in a boarding and daycare environment. Any person offering home boarding and doggy daycare services need to be inspected by their Local Authority on an annual basis and pass all the necessary criteria prior to a license being issued.

Absolutely amazing/wonderful family. It's home from home for my 4yr old staffie girl Sapphie. Megan n her family are true dog lovers. Sapphie has become part of their family. It is clear to see that Sapphie adores them n they adore her. It is such a joy to see her reaction when Megan comes to collect her! Love the regular picture/videos she sends. Sapphie is quite excitable and Megan knows just how to deal with her. For the first time i can relax in the knowledge that she's in good hands.
I cannot praise her service, support and excellent care enough.
