Our nursery is a vibrant, inspiring and child-centred setting with exciting activities enabling your child to explore and learn. At The Brambles, children are encouraged to learn through their play and become confident and independent. In our daily routine free-flow play is offered as well as activities guided by the staff.
We have a wonderful outside area with a climbing frame, seating, sand tray, mud kitchen, polytunnel and playhouse. Our aim is for your child to build a good relationship with our dedicated staff. All children are given a designated key worker who keeps parents informed of progress and development. Your child's care and experiences will naturally change as they transition from the baby room to the nursery room.

Services
Parents are able to book the hours in the week which best suit their family circumstances. Children are booked in during the school term and the fees for these places are charged regardless of sickness or holidays. If children are away on holiday or ill for a considerable length of time (more than 2 weeks) the full fee is reduced or if another child fills the place - temporarily - the fee will not be charged.
Key persons are knowledgeable about their children's next steps, and provide and develop activities to support progress well. The high priority staff give to teaching mathematics, literacy and social skills ensures that all children make strong progress from their starting points. The manager carefully monitors the accuracy of children's progress records.
9.30-10 Whole group snack - with a range of healthy choices are offered such as wraps, rice cakes, cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, humus. Free flow - where all children can access the garden freely, also planned activities take place to support individual learning and development, messy play, banking and lots more.
