Edinburgh Yoga
Edinburgh Yoga offers one-to-one or group sessions, and in-house corporate yoga courses. Edinburgh Yoga is run by Stephanie Paxton, who has been practising yoga for over 30 years. Stephanie's early introduction to the multiple benefits of yogic practice came under the guidance of her mother, a yoga teacher of some 50 years standing and founder of one of the first yoga clubs in Edinburgh in 1970.

She then went on to study the art and practice of yoga in New Delhi, India. Stephanie is also a qualified massage therapist, having studied with the Scottish School of Professional Massage & Remedial Studies, affiliated with The Institute for Complementary Medicine & Professional Massage Association of Scotland.
Services
It combines deep breathing, postures and relaxation and is a powerful antidote to the stresses of modern-day life. Yoga works on all the bodily systems, toning the muscles, stimulating the circulation and improving overall health. The benefits are not merely physical: you will find that yoga has the power to calm the mind, increase your concentration and give the ability to cope with tension.
Incorporating a unique blend of highly effective massage techniques, this treatment acts as a natural facelift and helps you feel and look younger. This hugely sought-after treatment releases the tension hotspots in the scalp, face, neck and shoulder muscles and reduces fine lines by re-training the muscles of the face.
Over the years I have picked up numerous injuries; but after practicing yoga with Stephanie on a regular basis all my old injuries have gone, and I feel 100% better in my body. I am stronger, more resilient, and much less likely now to be knocked out of the game. I would recommend yoga to anyone who wants to get the most out of their sporting career.
