Based in the Guildford area, we have nurseries & pre-schools in three great locations Markenfield, South Hill and Shamley Green. Founded in 1995, we offer a variety of fun activities both inside and outside, utilising toys, arts and crafts, games, equipment and materials which develop the children physically, educationally and emotionally.
All three of our Guildford nurseries are registered as Forest Schools which maximises the learning potential of local woodlands or our own wilderness gardens through regular visits throughout the year. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is designed to be a joint partnership with parents and professionals.

Services
We plan to continue raising the bar of future childcare provision by challenging complacency and pioneering a forward thinking approach today and every day. One way we will achieve this is to continue making significant investment in our staff by supporting their training and ongoing professional development.
Payment may be made by bank transfer, direct debit, debit/credit card, and Childcare Vouchers. Each working parent whose employer has selected to provide them with employer-supported childcare using the Childcare Voucher route does not have to pay tax or NIC on the first 55 per week, or 243 per month.
Our South Hill Nursery opened in 1955, its setting can be found nestled in the heart of Guildford town, its location is perfect for parents living and working in Guildford town centre. The South Hill Nursery is a Victorian building which dates back to 1858, formally the first Primary School in Guildford.
Castle Nursery in Shamley Green opened in 2002; we are a 39 place rural day nursery situated in the grounds of Wonersh & Shamley Green Primary School. We have a single storey building with disabled access and two equipped rooms, one for the under two's and one for the over two's.
We have direct access into the outdoors areas from both rooms with the over two's having free flow indoors and outdoors access to a digging area, willow den, growing area, mud Kitchen, sand and water play. There is also a large sand pit, role play house, trim trail and a variety of gross motor equipment on a safety surface area.

Our 21 month old son has been going here a few mornings a week for 6 months now. He loves it. They have so many activities, arts, crafts, music and a lovely well stocked garden to play in. It's great knowing he gets a good cooked lunch there everyday and he's learning lots. The staff are great at staying in contact about his development, any issues and special activities. We're very lucky to have this nursery just around the corner from us

So happy with my daughter’s new nursery. The manager Leanne and her lovely team have made her transition from being cared for at home by me full time to being in full time childcare such a smooth one. She is… full of beans when I pick her up and so happy and smiley and hugs the staff goodbye before she leaves. I couldn’t be happier with how she’s settled in and it’s one less thing for me to worry about whilst I’m a work. Huge thanks to the Team at Castle Hill, Markenfield.

A wonderful nursery. I love that it's small so all the staff know all the children. The flexibility of no set time for drop off or collection is great. The staff really care for the children and both of my kids love it. They have learnt so much whilst having a great time. It's totally deserving of its "outstanding" review by Ofsted.
