I have worked at Apple Tree Nursery since 2006 and lead a team of 14 staff. I have worked in child care in various roles for 37 years, I have 3 grown up children and 5 grandchildren. I believe that every child is an individual and therefore unique, by offering a child varied learning experiences and planning for the individual we are able to provide the highest quality care and education for the children that come to our setting.

I joined Apple Tree Nursery in 1999 as the nursery cook on bank staff. Through hard work and dedication plus a natural affinity for child care, I have managed to make my way up to Deputy Manager. I hold a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education and have experienced working with all age groups. I am one of the Nursery's Special Education Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and work closely with the children who need additional attention.

Apple Tree nursery is a wonderful nursery with wonderful staff. It is also ran by a great manager and assistant manager. My eldest went there from 10months old till she started school and my youngest attends there now and she started from 10months old also. Both my girls love all the staff and enjoyed/enjoy their days there. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

My son started apple tree nursery at 23 months old, and loved every second of his nearly 3 years there! He had the best time growing and sharing his experiences with staff and friends! Loved watching him move up from room to room, thank you to all the staff! Your all amazing!!!

My son has absolutely loved every min at nursery such friendly staff always making me feel reassured that he is happy leaving him as a baby to return to work was stressful but the apple tree team made it feel easy, they loved sharing all his days activities and my son looks forward to nursery my son loves the food ❤️

My boy is attending classes every morning age since he was 1.5 year old and he is very happy, he s learning a lot and the environment is lovely, great staff.. thank you

Awful place, should have reported them to Ofsted. My son was wet with his own urine a couple of times at pick up when he never had accidents anywhere else. This is just one example of their poor care

My daughter has been going for nearly three years and loves it. The building may look a bit tired but that doesn't affect the nurturing environment where the children are well looked after with the appropriate ratios, taught manners along with the government's curriculum and balanced nutritious meals.
