At the heart of our success is our commitment to a personal education tailored to your child. Our class sizes are small, averaging 15 to 20 pupils. Although not academically selective we offer all the advantages of close attention in the classroom and wide open adventure outside of it. Find out more here, or arrange a visit.
Pupils gradually grow to become ready to take responsibility for their own actions and their consequences; and to stand up for others less fortunate. Whether Nursery toddlers exploring the forest, Prep pupils grappling with phonics, Senior students striving for better grades or Sixth Formers applying for university; everyone is encouraged to exceed their personal best and achieve beyond expectations.

Services
We recognise there are consequences to our actions should we choose not to follow our agreed guidelines. We want to be recognised for our efforts and achievements and we expect that this will take place at school. Our teachers praise us verbally, they offer positive encouragement, write positive comments on our work, give us responsibilities, share our work with others, display our work, and promote that we praise others.
At Gosfield School we don't just aim to help all of our pupils achieve their full potential, we also hope to bring the very best out of our teachers and support staff. We offer our teachers and nursery practitioners lots of opportunities to develop their skills and add to their qualifications as they are key to our pupil's success.
We wish to ensure that Gosfield School is accessible to as many pupils as possible who would benefit from an education here. Therefore, any prospective pupil from a low-income family is eligible to apply for a Bursary to obtain means-tested financial support in respect of school fees. Bursaries do not preclude pupils from also holding a scholarship award.
Welcome to the official page of the Old Gosfieldians association. Everyone is welcome to share their memories from the school - old or current, parents and students, cleaner or teacher. Just any association with Gosfield School at some point in time. We would like to compile a list of past pupils and staff to allow us to find out your news and to allow us to put people in touch with each other.

Having deliberated for years about which senior school, we decided on Gosfield after some very positive Open Day visits. We're so pleased we did. Our Daughter is thriving, socially, emotionally and academically. None of the frequent dramas of many senior schools. She comes home happy, relaxed about her learning and tells us her teachers are the type she wants to do her best for. Thoroughly thankful we chose Gosfield.
