Cancelled on me two weeks before a wedding because they don't know what gluten or dairy is apparently, or what fruit and vegetables are and don't want responsibility for allergies. If you have any dietary requirements that aren't eating meat and bread in isolation I recommend you don't bother.

We stayed here a few years ago over Christmas, including Christmas day. The breakfasts were amazing, even on Christmas morning. We woke up one morning with snow on the ground and amazing views all round, walking by the duck pond in the snow was so pretty, and views across to the hills.
We had a four poster bed which was rather regal & different

A lovely quiet liitle site in the grounds of a beautiful old Manor Farm.
Lovely gardens complete with Duck Pond & Doves.
The owners were very accommodating & helpful.
We stayed over New Year so the pitches where too wet to put out Motorhome on, so we stayed on the hard standing path (not a problem with this as it was just as good).
The showers & toilets where closed down because of the frosts so cannot comment on them (again not a problem for us a we expected this at this time of year).

We needed somewhere to chill out a few days, so trawled the internet for a farm cottage. What a gem of a find 😃. Beautifully clean and presented. Very comfy bed and even a wood burner. Best of all a lovely south facing, private courtyard garden. I think we will be returning to Bewley Cottage. ps Louis the dog loves it too

I booked the wrong dates on a booking site so when I arrived I wasn't expected. This was not a problem and I was made very welcome and thankfully there was a room to spare. Th location is very tranquil, peaceful and beautiful. The bed is one of the best I have slept in, and the breakfast superb; a hearty plateful that would set anyone's day off to a fabulous start. Very friendly place.
