They are spacious, with well equipped kitchens, comfortable furnishings, attention to detail and all maintained to our high standards. There is a large car parking area adjacent to the cottages, an extensive lawns and a wooded area with a pond for fishing.

If you are moving or working in the Shropshire area or towns of Shrewsbury, Telford, Market Drayton, Wem, Whitchurch, Ellesmere or Oswestry we can accommodate you. Shropshire is logistically good and friendly with roads, trains and airports exceptionally well linked. Shrewsbury, North to Chester and Crewe, east to Telford and Birmingham, South to South Wales and Bristol and West to the Welsh coast.
Downstairs - wide entrance hall, twin bedroom separate wheel-in-shower room with toilet (lever taps, and hand rails). Open plan kitchen/diner/sitting room with patio doors leading to sun room and back door to fenced patio overlooking garden and pond. Upstairs - galleried landing leading to one twin bedroom, one double bedroom and a separate bathroom.
Set in the grounds of Newton Meadows, the Garden Room, complete with its log burner to take the chill away on a cold day, and equipped with tables and chairs, provides a calming and relaxing environment for meditation and yoga retreats or craft workshops. Weekly bookings and short breaks are accepted form Friday's or Monday's, For other mid-week dates please contact us. The deposit is to be paid within one working week of the initial booking, otherwise the cottage may not be held for you. Your deposit is non-refundable. Confirmation will be sent to you as soon as possible.
The Newton Meadows team love to read the guest book comments; here are a sample of some recent entries. A really lovely place to stay, breaking our journey between Oxfordshire and the Llyn Peninsula. Chestnut Cottage provided everything we needed for a stay with our daughter in a wheelchair. The grounds and surrounding footpaths have given us a perfect introduction to a very picturesque part of the world.
