Beautiful, fully equipped self-catering lodges perfectly placed in the heart of Delamere Forest, located in-between the Visitors Centre (which hosts a cafe, bike hire and soon to have a licensed bar) and Go Ape with Delamere Train Station (which also hosts a fabulous new cafe) just a 5 minute walk away.
We also offer first class facilities for those that are looking for a horsey holiday with the most fabulous hacking straight out of our main gates and into hundreds of acres of unspoiled woodland tracks and bridleways. Delamere Lodges are very well designed, with all the facilities to create a home from home.

Lynmere Moss Farm is home to Forest Holiday Cottages situated in Cheshire's largest ancient woodland, offering 2 beautiful, fully equipped, self-catering lodges. We upgraded the lodges in 2015, keeping in mind that the little things really do make a difference.
This is also our home, where we run a livery yard with several acres of pasture, home to our very lucky barefoot horses, Peggy our friendly Labrador, Roxy our new puppy and our resident cats Dave and Roger. We are situated on one of the forest tracks inbetween The Visitors Centre Cafe and Go Ape.

Lynmere Lodge can accommodate up to six people. It has one large double room with king size bed and en-suite bathroom, 2 x twin rooms and a family bathroom. Very spacious inside, with a comfortable family sitting room with french doors looking out over our fields and Delamere Forest. The lodge also has has board games, WiFi and satellite TV with On Demand.
Direct access into Delamere Forest with miles of tracks to explore over different terrain. Plenty of routes to keep you busy through the forest, around the lakes or bridleways; this includes a wonderful hack up the Old Pale with 360 degree views towards Shropshire, Staffordshire and Lancashire. We also have an outdoor arena, daytime turnout and stabling.
Our horses live out 24/7 all year round on tracks around the perimeters of the fields with access to a large yard area and provided with a natural, equine friendly diet ie: adlib timothy and meadow hay aswell as hedges, bushes and trees for selective foraging through the year.
Our main goal is to facilitate health and soundness, both physical and mental aswell as preventing the many conditions, illnesses and disorders which are caused by grazing unsuitable pasture and spending too much time locked in stables with limited, unsuitable forage.
