I’ve been going here for years. Hands down the best studio in East London - I’ve tried them all. Best prices, great range of classes and workshops. Always smells lovely and it’s friendly and welcoming. Angelika’s Hatha class is the one.

Amazing studio- really friendly and good vibes and great teachers. Classes can get a bit over- full sometimes so pick your times wisely. Otherwise highly recommend.

I've attended pregnancy yoga here with both instructors and I would highly recommend it. I was new to yoga and found both instructors friendly, welcoming and personable. I left each session energised, empowered re my birth and body, and I felt really positive in my outlook. Both instructors adapted exercises for individuals in the session depending on stage of pregnancy and pregnancy ailments in a helpful manner. Overall, the exercises to prepare for labour and birth were helpful, the breathing exercises and affirmations were relaxing and I just really enjoyed the quiet time to connect with my

Went to an ashtanga class and the teacher was atmosphere was cold and clinical. There was no attempt or give alternate positions despite the fact it was a class for all levels. It was an unfriendly and disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The Yoga place in is my Yoga home in London! While visiting my sister from NYC in Bethnal Green I stumbled upon the Yoga Place while walking back from the tube. If I could give this place 6 stars I would! Everything about this place was special, from the ambiance to the instructors. The energy was welcoming and I had a great experience in both classes I attended. Trudy (who signed me in and I took one of her classes) was such a genuine person and I enjoyed conversing with her while eating my post yoga porridge (which was delicious and free!). I suggest this studio to anyone who is looking for a

I completely love Yoga Place. I came as a complete beginner to yoga, not even really sure if it was for me. But Trudi's beginners workshop was awesome and I've been hooked ever since. They've got a huge variety of classes in a lovely warm space, and every teacher I have is all about making sure I end each practice feeling good. No wonder they've been around so long. Perfect.

Yoga Place in bustling Bethnal Green is a shiny gem offering grounding, nourishing yoga in two well equipped, tranquil studios. Yoga teachers are ones you want to follow. I’ve been a staunch follower of Susan Bysh’s Saturday morning advanced ashtanga class which rocks! Also Maren Weege’s pre-natal class restored my strength when I most needed it. If you want to feel powerful and grounded, head off to a class at Yoga Place!

I took the balance and coordination workshop and couldn't recommend it enough. The teacher was brilliant, a very flowing class and afternoon that left my body feeling so much better and aligned.

Very nice yoga studio, close to the tube. Great Ashtanga yoga classes, nice teachers and staff, relaxing atmosphere. Many different classes available. No membership required, they do drop-ins from £8,5 (off-peak) to £12,50 (evenings, weekends) for a 90 minutes class. Over the weekends various workshops available. The front door tends to be stuck so be persistent when coming for the first time. The studio interior could be renovated, if not for that I´d happily give them 5 stars.

Lovely friendly studio, with outstanding classes and teachers. I've been doing the Mysore ashtanga yoga for 3 years now and love turning up each morning for class. The studio has a really good vibe and the other students are friendly too. The prices are decent and they do drop-ins, weekly and monthly passes.

I am up and down about yoga place. The venue itself is fine. A couple of good sized studios. Unfortuantely they are not particularly open to light or well lit (as opposed to triyoga's ones) but are still sufficient for yoga.

The yoga mats you get there are generally rather worn and the changing rooms and main area is also a little bit battered.

However, to the important bit, the teachers. Some are fantastic, dynamic, engaging and learned. Some are cliches. Find the right ones and you can have a great experience. Get the wrong one and you can spend an hour and a half wondering if you

Yoga Place is a behemoth for Yoga in the East End. The centre itself is bright and airy with two beautifully offered studios.

There are a variety of styles of yoga to try such as Ashtanga, Hatha and Shadow. You can book courses, workshops or simply come along to drop in classes.

Many of the teachers are affiliated to the British Wheel of Yoga. The classes are challenging, well paced and I often leave feeling very euphoric.

Like many yoga studios they offer alternative holistic therapies and special pregnancy classes.

For a deep understanding and practice of yoga, Yoga Place is a great studio

A retreat amidst the busy centre of Bethnal Green, Yoga Place seems to emit a calming, relaxing vibe as soon as you step through the door. Specialising in Ashtanga, a more dynamic form of yoga, they have regular morning 'self-practice' sessions for the more experienced, as well as evening beginners classes, Postnatal & Baby yoga, Hatha and Pilates.

There are two rooms, one slightly smaller than the other, so there are usually two classes at once. It's a very popular yoga centre and so the classes can get extremely packed, and inevitably very hot & sweaty! The teachers
