Our non mobile babies benefit from the large, bright, open plan day room, well equipped with the latest in sensory equipment to test their senses and encourage development. As babies spend a lot of time sleeping at this early age, we provide a dedicated sleep room. We constantly monitor the temperature to ensure the babies are comfortable and we monitor the children at all times.
At Monkey Puzzle day nursery we strongly believe that a healthy, balanced diet is essential for growth and development in under 5's. This prompted us to consult with a paediatric nutritionist to formulate a menu that will help give your child the best start in life. Where possible, all our food is organic and has won The Healthy Eating Under 5's Award.
All children at Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries are encouraged to learn through play. Our Curriculum covers all the key areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage and is designed to meet the needs of each individual child. I have two sons at Monkey Puzzle and couldn’t be happier with how they are both getting on there. The nursery is really well run, each month is a different learning theme and all the activities in the ore-school are structured around that. My son is so stimulated there, he comes home telling me how busy he’s been all day and how many things he’s learnt. It’s really lovely as he continues the games he’s played at nursery at home. As an example they’d be learning about post people and he’d made a post bag at nursery. At home he wanted to make a card and deliver it back to nursery. Not

My son joined the Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Catford in February 2020 he is now 21 months in the Tweenies room. I was extremely nervous as he is my first child and wanted to ensure that he would be well looked after and his routines followed. I needn't have worried because the baby room team were amazing, they were fantastic with my little boy and put me at ease. They documented his routine, likes, dislikes and he had his comfort blankets from home which helped him settle. The baby room team put so much effort into their activities, with always something new to do with the little ones, very refreshing

My son attended Monkey puzzle for 2 years. He joined in the toddler room then went on to pre school. My son at the time he joined was very timid. But the team were amazing with him and immediately put my mind at rest and before I knew it my son was this confident chatty little boy who was excited and looked for to going to nursery. When he moved to the pre school room the team there were simply fantastic. My boy really enjoyed his time at Monkey puzzle. Well done guys you do an amazing job.

I started working here at this nursery two and half months ago and I have to say that the manager and staff have welcomed me with open arms and have made me feel part of the team in a very short space of time.
I have found the facilities inside and outside to be very good and clean, the food served is a of very good standard, with menus catering for all needs.
The children are happy, loved and well cared for by the amazing staff, which you can see when the parents come to collect them they are in no rush to go home.
I understand there have been a lot of changes with the staff recently, but I

My Son has been attending Monkey Puzzle nursery in Catford for just under a year now and even though there has been a change in management during this time frame, the care and attitude towards the children has been brilliant. This nursery has helped my son to develop to his full potential in a way that is suited to him, and he has been allowed to blossom here, where in other nurseries he may not have been. He is always learning new things and the daily routine and activities he takes part in every day (especially the arts & crafts!) have greatly aided his development. He is always well cared for
