At Cherryli we believe that providing a safe and comfortable environment, a balanced structure of varied activities and dedicated, well-motivated staff is the best way to nurture your child's individuality and facilitate his or her development. Cherryli is a small, independent nursery, run by an experienced and highly qualified teacher who is present, and part of, every day.
The nursery is situated in a converted house with a beautifully hand crafted wooden interior, providing safe, attractive, warm surroundings for active minds to be at work in. We provide a structured day with a balance of free play and adult-led activities, many with a creative focus, and topics that aim to cover the full spectrum of Foundation Level requirements.

My children attended Cherryli between 2016 and 2021 and they enjoyed going to this nursery. Lionel managed to keep key staff working for the nursery and this continuity really makes the difference. All staff are kind, lovely and seemed happy, our children always talked about them positively.
I think Cherryli provides a good balance of learning and fun and as parent we are happy how our children progressed into next phase of their learning.
There are things to improve like communication but after you understand how things operate that is not a big deal.

I came for an interview as apprentice nursery however the manager been very rude since the beginning.
First question , how old I am
Second question, do I know how to write in English
Third question, can I proof I am eligible to work in UK
I was happy to answer all the questions but he was not happy as I was in a pre-settle status and from Spain.
This person only wants young people and fully British.
A waste of my time !

I went to the nursery with my daughter to see if I could register and I was left standing outside waiting for the manager to come and speak to me. When the manager came he spoke to me on the door step and didn't invite me into the nursery which I think is very unprofessional. Not a good first impression for somebody who is bringing their daughter there for her to be looked after. I would not recommend unless you like being treated like a criminal.
