Founded in 2005 with just a small selection of bikes, we are grateful for the loyal support which enabled us to grow out of our small high street shop in Great Shelford. Since 2016, we have been exclusively trading from our new home in Pampisford, where we have two floors of showroom space, as well as a fully fitted workshop and dedicated parking.
While much has changed, we aim to retain the core values of a small independent cycle shop through a trusted and reliable repairs service, an offering of quality bikes and attention to detail in every custom build. We offer bikes from a comprehensive selection of brands including Royal Dutch Gazelle, Ridgeback, Genesis, Forme, Tern, Frog and Bianchi.

Services
We will aim to complete your repair within 4 days of your booking date on a best endeavors basis. We are now accepting Government fix your bike vouchers which you can use towards the cost of a bike service. For everyone's safety, please book your bike in onlinerather than at the store. By doing this we can keep contact to a minimum as well as manage our workload, thank you for your understanding.
A ride to work scheme enables you to pay for a bike over the course of a year with hire payments deducted from your gross monthly salary i.e. before tax. This recent update means your savings are no longer capped at 1,000 so you can use the scheme to save money on the total value of any request. This is ideal for cycle commuters who like the idea of an electric bike or perhaps need more than one bike due to weather conditions or choices of route.
We have partnered with Charlie Holt who runs Bikefit Physio. As well as being a bikefit expert, Charlie is a Chartered Physiotherapist meaning he has a full understanding of bio-mechanics & the human body. Most bikefit operations are run by cyclists who often understand the bicycle side of fitting but have very little knowledge of the human body and how to remedy niggles/pain/injuries.
Bicycles and frames will be delivered as soon as we have time to process them through our workshop. We will contact you via email when this will be, and in some instances, there can be a 2-week turnaround for bicycles. If you are in need of a bicycle within a certain time frame, please contact us before placing your order so we can discuss our workshop schedule with you.
Our Click & Collect service offers all the benefits of shopping online combined with specialist personal retail experience in one of our stores. Simply order your items, select Click & Collect and pick up your item at a time that's convenient for you. Best of all the service is completely FREE! Choose a store of your liking, click continue and complete the rest of our standard checkout steps and you're ready to collect your item in store.

We traveled, from Norwich, to Cambridge Cycle Company to buy bikes for the three of us (inc my 11 y/o daughter) for a winter trip cycling across France. I cannot speak highly enough of the advice, service and after purchase help we've had. Without Richard spending the time he did thinking through with us the best bikes to take, I can see now I would have bought the wrong bike. This would have made quite a big difference to the journey. Huge thanks Richard and good luck!

After sales care lacking. A big shame, bought a bike late last year and requested some help and as ever with these companies, just palmed off with a "do it yourself" response.
A shame, my wife and friend currently looking for a bike. Would I recommend this lot ? .. of course not. These companies never learn. I do not recommend these folks.

I've never used them for repairs (I do my own!) but have bought several bike components from them and they always have what I need in stock. I chat with the mechanics too, and they definitely know their stuff. Great selection of bikes in stock too, from cheap and cheerful to exotic road racers, including kids' bikes, town bikes, hybrids, MTBs, CX bikes and more.

Left my bike there for a full service. I was charged over £50 which I was asked to pay when I came to collect my bike, before seeing it.
When I checked my bike I realised nothing was done, apart from a replaced front brake pad. They claimed to have cleaned the chain but it was clearly exactly the same as before. Even the dry mud was still there.
So, I was basically charged more than £50 for a change of brake pad.
When I asked about this, the owner was very rude towards me and refused to discuss it. I would never go back there again - appalling customer service with a fraudster mentality.

Great cycle shop. I bought my first proper road bike and a pair of SPD shoes from here. I have cycled (mostly commuting) for a number of years but when it came to moving up to the next level the extra advice was second to none and so important that I was able to try on different recommended shoes as well as adjustments to the bike for maximum comfort.

This is a great, local bike shop. I bought a bike for myself and the service and quality of knowledge was really good, both honest and to the point. I have since been back to buy further bikes for the rest of my family and have had the same great service every time, and was pleased to be remembered and welcomed back. Thanks to Richard and his team.

I decided to upgrade to an electric bike, and wanted a good local shop that sells Dutch bikes (and can deliver, and collect for servicing). Cambridge Cycle Company was able to give me great advice based on their own personal experience with e-bikes, and helped me choose the right one. I hadn't appreciated how much an e-bike would change my life, but it has! I've had a few follow-up questions which have been swiftly answered.

Good bike shop and great service.
Over the last few years I've used this shop many times, including bikes for all the family, and they've always been expert and helpful.
The latest time was after my commuting bike died and I needed a replacement quickly. Cambridge Cycle Company were excellent, and I'm now the proud owner of a new Genesis bike.

I recommend everyone to strongly agree on what services will be provided before you leave the store. I agreed on just servicing my bike for £50 and when I went to pick it up, the chain and peddles were changed without my consent. The bill went from £50 to over £80.
The customer service was very poor. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone.
