Absolutely spotless when we arrived and as usual nothing was too much trouble, cleaning to a very high standard, all items wrapped and only unwrapped what we needed.
Very well catered for , and in these strange times , plenty of cleaning products available.
Lynn and Gary such a lovely couple .
Great location , within easy reach of town,

Absolutely brilliant, clean homely near town and Quay, able to fish on river Stour. owners very helpful and friendly. will definitely visit again. so many places to visit locally and fish if your a fisherman.

Lynn was charming and very helpful with local information. Shops, restaurants and pubs were a short distance away as was the coast and the town. If you are into walking and cycling then you will love Christchurch and the surrounding area. There are riverside walks, coastal walks, woodland walks, marshlands, wetlands, birds and wildlife in abundance.
The property is well located for visiting nearby historical sites, buildings and gardens, and the New Forest is nearby as well.

Not long back from an absolutley fantastic holiday in christchurch and stayed at mallard cottage what can I say apart from 5 stars all round the welcome was great a stocked fridge cream teas on arrival milk bread butter everything you could think off so you could relax and unwind without worrying about heading to the supermarket. There were even new buckets and spades for the back which our little girl loved. The cottage is in easy reach of all local attractions and amenities we have already booked for next year and cannot wait to return highly recommended and an absolute credit to the owners.

Me and my partner have recently had a short break at Mallard Cottage and found it to be a lovely and relaxing stay - just what we needed! It was like a "home from home". Everything was just how you expect it to be when you are checking in to a holiday home. Lovely cottage and lovely helpful owners too! We will definately be going again! :)

I stayed a weekend recently at Mallard Cottage.,entered from Gravel drive,onto covered parking area,(housing washing machine and a tumble dryer)all in working order if we needed to use. Lovely welcome and above average Welcome Pack of essentials given F.O.C. upon arrival, unexpected,very thoughtful, It was larger than we thought, well set out, immaculate throughout, Clean fresh linen supplied on all beds, modern bathroom with shower. Lounge area, bright fresh and clean, big colour tele,sky, more than anyone wants on a holiday, and to top it all, patio seating area for outdoor eating, easy walking
