Our three New Forest Cottages are all located in the heart of Burley, all within just 100 metres, in country lanes just a 3 minute walk from the village centre. Steeped in history it has past connections with smuggling, dragons and witches but do not fear, the people are warm and friendly!.
A perfect setting in the lea of a hill and surrounded by the most colourful and truly outstanding area of natural beauty, Burley offers something for everyone.Traditional locally built brick and thatched cottages tucked away in leafy lanes where the ponies and cattle wander at will. Commoning, the practice where the animals graze on the open forest is still seen in Burley.

LOCATION.Both cottages are within the New Forest in the attractive village of Burley. Oakapple and Foxglove are just 70 metres walk apart. Both are a 3-5 minute walk to the village centre. Ideal for a family get together, groups and friends. The cottages are let on a weekly basis starting on a Friday.
In the event of any fouling of the gardens, it must be cleared immediately and disposed of properly. Please do not allow any marking of the lawned areas. The cottages are surrounded by 5 miles of open forest for walking and exercising your pet. The owner reserves the right to refuse acceptance of any pet if considered unsuitable for the property.

Just back from a lovely time in the New Forest. Wanda from New Forest Cottage Holidays was so welcoming and helpful, which allowed us to dive straight into our holiday.
The location of our cottage was excellent as we could walk into Burley village center to visit the Pubs, and shops. From Burley it was just a short drive to reach lots of interesting places across the Forest to. And whilst the weather wasn't good we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.
