Enjoyed a lovely camping weekend at Hill Cottage Farm this weekend with my husband and two daughters, fantastic campsite with nice sized pitches, particularly like the hedging around the hardstanding pitches with a nice sized grassed area for sitting. Easy check in and check out via an email to online link - all info received prior to arrival including pitch number, site plan and directions to our pitch.
Facilities all clean and well kept and plenty of them, including a proper hairdryer in the ladies!
Lovely onsite café and shop with friendly, helpful staff - we ordered a takeaway dinner for

Really enjoyed our stay in one of the lodges which was very modern and comfortable. Our son, grand daughter, daughter in law and here parents were also on site in their touring caravan, so we had a good family holiday.the site was very clean and well maintained. Due to restrictions didn't see much of the staff but they were friendly when we did. We would love to go back and do it again

Another great stay at the campsite, our families third. The facilities have been further improved since our last visit (last summer) with a new reception area and entry to the new shop.
The toilet and shower blocks are of a very high standard, quality materials and finishes, not your normal campsite standard! The pitches are a good size, the campsite layout is good, the shop sales camping essentials plus a few childrens toys etc.
Staff are friendly and helpful, the on site cafe does great pizzas that are good value, check in and out done via an email hyperlink, everything felt covid safe.

Lovely site with clean and modern facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful in the shop, plus very easy communication before our stay. We knew everything we needed to before we arrived which made pitching etc simple. There’s a great dog walk around a paddock. Our son enjoyed his stay too making lots of friends at the play area. We visited nearby Moors Valley Country Park which was a great day out - we hired a couple of bikes. All in all a great little holiday, we will be back next summer.

Very well presented, clean and tidy shower and toilet area. Nice little shop with a bar/coffee shop and restaurant. We ate there and I have to say the Pizzas are very nice !. The only issue was the lady opposite us on pitch 23, who decided to get smashed one night and call the entire camp site " Chavs". This didn't reflect in our score, as quite frankly it was better to watch than the iPad. Definitely will book again 🙂

Very nice campsite, the facilities were always clean and tidy and fairly modern. The pitches are nice and large with tall hedges between for privacy. Good hub for exploring the local area. Good enclosed walk around a pony paddock great if you have a dog but equally nice if not. This leads onto to a nice woodland walk to the local pub The Churchill which is well worth a visit. Also some fishing lakes on site too. Well recommended.

Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean and well stocked. The staff that we did meet were friendly and helpful and the booking, arriving, finding the pitch etc experience was flawless. We camped on an electric pitch which was a really good size with the added bonus of free wifi! Such a easy and relaxing place to call home for a few days. Nice stroll through the woods to a great local pub. Definitely returning again.

The location is perfect, the setting is lovely and the shower and facilities are very good and clean but it is a busy sight. For caravans, motor homes and camping I would have possibly even given this a 5 * but my in-laws hired one of the lodges and paid quite a price but were left with one dishwasher tablet, which I felt for the money they had paid to be a little bit stingy
