The Granary Barn is a magnificent and lovingly converted period barn with original exposed beams and brickwork. It has a huge open plan living area and kitchen making a wonderful space for large groups of friends & extended families to holiday together.

In the summer the large doors can be opened to enjoy its secluded private garden and far reaching views across the River Avon and in the winter there is a large roaring log burner to keep everyone toasty. The barn has direct access onto the farmyard, the Avon Valley footpath and 230 acres of private farmland.
Burgate Manor Farm is home to 230 acres of grassland, meadows and areas of wild flowers for the bees. Guests are welcome to explore the farm and discover the peaceful walks, bird watching and streams. The suspension bridge takes you from the self catering holiday cottages, onto water meadows rich in plants and wildlife, along the Avon Valley footpath and into the New Forest.
Burgate Manor Farm is situated in the village of Burgate, 1 mile north of Fordingbridge on the A338 towards Salisbury. It is located directly opposite the Surma Valley Indian restaurant. As you filter onto the A338, Burgate Manor Farm is on the right, opposite the Surma Valley Indian Restaurant. If you reach the children's nursery on your left, you have gone too far.

Lovely place. Reasonably priced. The cottages are stocked with EVERYTHING you'd need. There are some beautiful countryside walks nearby. There's also a massive games barn on site for little (and big) kids. Bring your wellies.

Very functional accommodation with high standards of furnishing etc. If you're looking for something unique with lots of character and charm, this probably isn't what you're after. But for good quality accommodation in a nice location, it's pretty much perfect. The games room is great.

Fantastic stay with our young children. Good sized accommodation with a kitchen with all the utensils needed. The children really enjoyed interacting with the all the animals. It was a great base for walks and activities. John and his family were very welcoming. Planning our return visit soon with all the family!

We took our daughter and two small grandchildren, the accommodation was clean, spacious and the enclosed courtyard made the area safe for the children. There are lovely walks on the doorstep and the coast is only half an hour away.

An absolute treat of a place to stay. I went with a large party of people and we stayed in the converted barn. It was absolutely beautiful. Loads of great places to walk and explore. I would definitely recommend. I want to go back already.

Took over the Granary and 6 cottages for an amazing weekend for my 70th. Everyone loved the place. We were so comfortable and everything worked like a treat. I would strongly recommend the place and some of my guests plan to come back and rent out a cottage. So easy to walk into the Forest and into Fordingbridge. Strongly recommend Crazy Baker who bake on the premises and the Fig Tree cafe for light lunches. I am so glad I found this place and received so much help both before and during my visit.
(Only small cloud was the Indian restaurant, Surma Valley opposite farm. Food is very good but, despite

An absolutely stunning converted barn with other units in the grinds and a sports barn too. You can walk down to the Avon and dip your feet in the cool, fast-flowing waters.
This is an absolutely stunning place.
