Fancy Fido is a professional dog grooming and cat grooming parlour established in 2002 by Erica Jenkins, providing a friendly, safe and pleasant atmosphere for your pet. I have owned dogs all my life and have a strong interest and love for animals. I initially took an intensive residential grooming course, and from there continued to build on my experience and knowledge by attending seminars throughout my grooming career.
This eventually led to me taking the City and Guilds advanced certificate in Dog Grooming (level 3). My regular clients come from many of the surrounding areas in Essex and East London, including Ilford, Redbridge Barkingside, Woodford, Wanstead, Chingford, Chigwell, Leytonstone, Walthamstow, Romford, Chadwell Heath, Hornchurch and Dagenham.

At each appointment you will have the opportunity to discuss your requirements and we can often advise a suitable cut/trim to suit the lifestyle of yourself and your pet. The complete grooming experience includes ear cleaning, claw trimming, a luxurious massaging hydrobath, blow dry and haircut. All pets enjoy the human contact that grooming creates and is essential for a happy healthy pet.
Cats are fastidious animals by nature and will spend many hours attempting to keep themselves clean and tidy. However in many cases they need a helping hand, especially the long haired varieties. If started at a young age, cats will get used to the routine of being groomed and find grooming sessions thoroughly enjoyable.
Brushing and combing your pet at home is important between visits to the groomer in order to prevent the coat from becoming knotty. Ideally, start them young, this will give them the opportunity to get used to being handled right from the beginning of their life. Be patient and try to overlook this behaviour and persevere, keeping the grooming session short and fun.

This lady is cruel, and bitter lady and takes it out on poor little dogs, I took my dog for a cut I never go private homes just because I don't trust them, and most are not working in an environment with other people, and often left to their own devises, I would strongly advise anyone and warn people not to attend, my poor little dog was scared and shaken up for days after his cut, flinching every time I stroked him he also had a cut on his ears she shaved the poor dog down to his bone. People like her should not be in buisness PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS WOMEN

Erica took care of my persian cat Lu Lu and was very caring and careful while sorting out his Lion Cut, he is a difficult cat to groom but she took her time and made sure he was kept calm while she took care of his grooming needs... i was very impressed and she provided some good advice for future care, I will definitely recommend her and use her again

The worst dog grooming experience. My dog has come back fully shaved (yes he was matted), but looks like a completely different dog. His fur looks completely changed. He seems to have a cut patch on his face and when we went to pick him up, the next dog was trembling and shaking. Do not recommend this company or this groomer.
