The staff of St. Patrick's Primary School, Aughadarragh envisage the school as being a caring community, which effectively develops the academic, personal, social and spiritual potential of each child who attends there. We as staff are devoted to the creation of a school atmosphere, which is stimulating, satisfying, happy, safe and secure for both pupils and staff to work in and which is reflective of the ethos and teaching of Christ.

St. Patrick's Primary School Aughadarragh is situated in a peaceful, picturesque and rural location, some four miles from Augher and quite close to the Tyrone Monaghan border. It was opened in 1964 and serves the area surrounding the school, with some children travelling from the neighbouring villages.
