We are based in the local community centre in Great Holm, with a large outdoor space and superb facilities we are ready for your child to make an exciting start to their educational journey with us. Services
Admission to the Pre-school is available to all children aged between 2 and 5 years old. You are most welcome to visit during one of our sessions with your child to see how we work. We have an open door policy and you are welcome to come in at anytime. Invoices will be sent home at the start of every half term and all fees must be paid by the due date, usually two weeks before the end of the current half term.
At Great Holm Pre-school, we pride ourselves on the varied and much loved snack that is offered to your child during every session they attend, both mornings and afternoons. We understand that not all children are toilet/potty trained before joining the setting, The staff have many years experience with this and will help and support you as parents as much as we can.
The staff members at the pre school are incredibly welcoming. My little lad had a couple of problems before starting at the school but since starting, he has come on leaps and bounds. When he first started, he used to scream bloody murder and there were a few times where his keyworker would have to leave the premises to help me get him through the door.
Tuesday - Dough gym - We have recently implemented Dough gym, this is an opportunity for children to improve their fine motor skills by using muscles in their fingers to complete exercises with play dough. It's a great way of having fun and listening to music and also developing the skills and muscles ready for handwriting.
Our Pre-school belongs to the families that use it. As parents you are always welcome in Pre-school especially when first settling in your child. However please do not feel your involvement has to end there. The Pre-school is only as good as we all make it. Come and join in with our sessions, share any special skills you may have and come to the committee meetings (held throughout the year), maybe join the committee.

My little girl has just finished her first year with Great Holm Pre-School. She has flourished and been able to progress at her own pace with help from her amazing key worker. She also has the best relationship with all the staff. She attends breakfast club which she loves. The outdoor area is brilliant. The pre-school is secure and safe. I would recommend to any parents to view.
