We are a friendly, community pre-school for 3-4 year olds based in a beautiful, unique rural setting in Central Bedfordshire adjacent to Aspley Guise Lower School. Aspley Guise Pre-School is a registered charity run by a highly qualified, passionate and caring team. In 2017, Ofsted rated the preschool as 'GOOD' in all categories. We provide an educational framework that abides by the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and are also a member of the Early Years Alliance.
Services
At Aspley Guise Pre-School we are committed to creating a nurturing and caring environment where children feel safe and secure, allowing them to flourish. As a semi-rural setting, we have a strong focus on outdoor learning with daily in-out play and use of our Forest School. With years of experience as childcare professionals, we know how fundamentally important the early years experience is for a child.
Aspley Guise Pre School is open Monday to Friday during Bedfordshire schools term times (please refer to the Useful Information tab for term dates). When your child is starting preschool it's normal for you and your child to have mixed feelings. We recommend visiting us with your child prior to starting so they are familiar with the surroundings and can see how much fun they are going to have!
Aspley Guise Pre-School runs an After School Club for children ages 3-9. The club runs from 3.30pm until 6pm every Monday to Thursday during term time and is staffed by our highly qualified childcare professionals. At Aspley Guise ASC our focus is on providing your child with a safe environment where they can continue their learning and development but in a fun, less formal way.
Staff are incredibly friendly and there's plenty of feedback given both in person and over the online programme. Preschool staff regularly record observations and upload photos. Parents are invited to access their child's profile at anytime, keeping up to date with their progress. Parents are also encouraged to add their own information and photographs which helps to build an overall picture of each child's development.
