Services
First opened in 1980, the Cotswold Edge golf course has matured into a first class Par 71 challenge for golfers of all levels. Popular with visitors throughout the year, it enjoys stunning views from the top of the Cotswold escarpment, looking out over Gloucestershire, and the River Severn, to the Brecon Beacons and the Malvern Hills beyond.
The Mens Section welcomes all A + B Team and Straggler golfers to The Cotswold Edge Golf Club whether they are current club members or "just browsing" as visitors to our club's web site. A nice straightforward starting hole, 'Streteley' is a 'what you see, is what you get' hole measuring 337 yards. A generous fairway only has one bunker to catch the pushed drive at 224 yards, while the generous green is 32 yards deep. A relatively simple hole to start you off, but it is amazing how easy it is to be drawn by the out of bounds on the right.
All golf club staff are fully authorised to require any golfer whose dress does not comply with the dress code to leave the golf course. Etiquette has to do with manners. It is through the courtesy that we show to other people that we show our respect for them and that we show how important we think they are.
Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding and our warmest best wishes to you both for the future. The Cotswold Edge Golf Club is ideally located in the beautiful Cotswold countryside on the outer fringes of the rural setting of Wotton-Under-Edge in Gloucestershire. The Cotswold Edge enjoys Stunning views over Wotton-Under-Edge and Gloucestershire's Severn Vale, to the Brecon Beacons, Wales, Severn Bridges, Malvern Hills and beyond.

The day was booked in advance on the special winter deal of £15. The course was in really good condition considering the time of year. We had a party of 11 people some enjoyed a nice breakfast before the round. The bar was a bit dated however that was over looked by the service received from the owner Neil and his wife.

A very friendly welcome from the young lady in the pro shop and the barman. The course was in excellent condition. Definitely a course of two halves, which made it very interesting. The front 9, open and flat, the back 9, very undulating and tight. Excellent value for money £25 on a Sunday. Highly recommend this little gem. Will be returning.

What a great day for golf at Cotswold Edge. Met by the staff and greeted with bacon rolls and coffee before heading out for a round of golf. Course was in great condition with some really quirky holes especially on the back nine. Then back to the club house for a meal. The staff were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for them. If you have not played this course you are missing out. I will definitely be playing this course again. The scenery is absolutely fantastic

First time here for a round, very impressed with the lay out, the greens are very good, some challenging holes from tee to greens which makes the course better than others, I will be definitely be back more times here than anywhere else and look forward to using the clubhouse when restrictions are eased

Having played here 6 times this year, I can say I enjoy this course. Quite well maintained and for pay and play, it's very good value for money comparedto other courses locally. I'm not a member at this club and I don't think I would consider becoming one because the of the issue that I've discovered recently. The water retention on the fairways and some of the greens, particularly on the back nine is quite bad. The keepers were in the process of creating temporary greens on about 60-70% of the holes. Fantastic views and enjoyable to walk and carry. Quite steep terrain on some of the holes which
