Great place with new outdoor Cider Bar (serving in Summer I hope, just covered seating currently in Winter). Good to have more outdoor space in these times.
The whole place, car park, etc gets very busy at popular times.

Friendly and helpful staff. Phoned when we were an hours away in our motorhome after a stressful few hours, looking for a place to stay and some dinner. couldnt be more helpful. Atmosphere at the pub is great and so is the food. will definitely be back cant wait to wake up to the views of the sea.

We travelled to the Ship Inn from Reading to enjoy a meal for our 30th anniversary. The customer service was outstanding and the food amazing. Decorated the table for us and made it feel special. Could not recommend highly enough.

Just arrived home from having Christmas dinner at The Ship and what a dinner. The food was superb and beautifully presented. The restaurant area and tables were so pretty in decor and the staff efficient and very smartly dressed. Thank you for making our Christmas dinner such an enjoyable experience.

Lovely pub with character. Friendly staff but chicken roast was disappointing serving 2 chicken drumsticks and chicken thigh! Not what I would consider a roast, certainly not from a restaurant! Otherwise pleasant meal and sweet. Roast beef looked much.more inviting! Will return but not for dame roast!

Arrived at 7.15pm for our reserved outdoor table, friendly welcome from all staff. Told quickly they were out of Sunday roasts to enable us to decide before sitting whether we'd still like to dine. We opted for a bacon burger which was cooked very well and came with a very tasty mustard sauce on the side. What a lovely location right next the sea. Pretty lights outside. The facilities were a pleasant surprise with a clean, fresh, tiled, new looking bathroom. We're looking forward to going back.

Poor food, burger was dry and not much else with it, fish was ok but tasteless, chips and minted peas were awful, shame as is a lovely pub right on the harbour. Attentive waitress but saw staff sitting and drinking inside the pub! Not the best advert sadly

Popped in for a light lunch.
Absolutely beautiful fish and chips , probably the best I’ve had ! ( fabulous batter) !
Hubby had the scampi and chips also very nice .
Staff very pleasant, happy and helpful.
Definitely recommend and will return! Xx
