We were recommended Guru Express about 6 years ago by a taxi driver and he was absolutely spot on. The food here is simply delicious. Full marks for flavour/quality and value. Well I don't know where to start! I have ordered from Guru on several different occasions and all I can say is Wow! The food is excellent and meets all my expectations.

Just moved into the area and they stuck a menu through the door so thought I'd give them a try. Very polite on the phone but the food was not so good. I ordered a jalfrezi but that's not what I got. It was a curry I guess but not a jalfrezi. Food was cold on arrival, chicken was dry and severely overcooked, drowning in oil, felt like I'd been served up leftovers of someone else's curry. Can't be bothered complaining no point, won't be using again

Well what can I say about this awesome establishment firstly let me start by saying placed our order online with ease very well presented menu with such a vast array of choice food arrived on time greater by a very freindly chap on opening our order we were surprised at the extra bits we had onion salad with popadum and a sauce the food not only looked mouth watering but tasted awesome I had to pick up the phone and just show my appreciation at such quality and perfection so if your looking for a great curry with choice value and abundance look no further than guru express I cannot highly recommend

Tiger Special Lamb & Egg Fried Rice, with Lime Pickle and Papadom.
Lovely spiced curry, not too sweet or hot. Excellent rice, light and fluffy Basmati, well flavoured with a hint of corriander. Tangy lime pickle and dry crunchy Papadoms not greasy at all. Walked in ordered, always very friendly and chatty, excellent customer service. If you fancy a Indian then Guru Express won't let you down. I'd say they are the best Indian takeaway on London Road.

Ordered at 17.26 was told 45mins delivery time. Phoned again after one and a half hours to be told that it was on its way, reason it was so late was because they were so busy. Called again after 2 hours to be told that it had not even been prepared. Asked to speak to manager but could not get past the "politely" rude person on the phone. This is the second time in two weeks that I have had bad service, the first time it was not ready when I went to pick it up and I had to wait 15 mins. I have been using this takeaway for over 10 years as have many of my friends and have never known such poor -
