The name Agora derived from the Greek, referred to as an ancient place of gathering in Greek cities since the 5th century that served as meeting grounds for activities of citizens. The name connotes both the assembly of the people, as well as its physical setting, to what they regard as a typical feature of their lives with religious, political, judicial, social and commercial activities.

Went here with a large group (around 30 diners), making the place feel probably more cramped than I suspect it really is usually. Service was friendly though and their take on a frappé coffee is refreshingly different from the usual coffee chain versions: it is I think based on traditional Turkish coffee, so quite strong and sweet. Had main course of fish- a whole, skin on fish on a plate with very nice side salad. Fish was a little dry overall (not served with sauce) but nevertheless was what you would expect from a barbecued style, very traditionally cooked. Flavour of the fish was good though

This meal was magnificent, from the starters through to the dessert. I ordered the mixed grill (pictured) and every bit of it was delicious. Oh - the bread they serve with the meal is fabulous too but don't eat too much bread to tart, the portions are very generous and you might not do them justice.
Can't wait to go back.
