It moved to its present location in 1896 and became Skipton Golf Club shortly after, finally becoming an 18 hole course in 1980.

Had lunch there. The menu has enough choice and the food when it arrived was well cooked and presented. The service however needs addressing, half of our group got served part of their meal then we had a longer than acceptable wait for the rest of the food. Tidy that up and it will be worth a return visit
