Services
Nestled among the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, once you have played this magnificent course, like many other golfers, you will want to return year after year. The Club moved to its current site in 1896 and has matured over the years into one of the most picturesque golf courses in the North of England.
Now in its 128th year, Skipton Golf Club continues to thrive both on and off the course with a busy social calendar and a bar & restaurant popular with members and locals alike. We are proud of our policy to continually invest in improvements not just to the course but also to the clubhouse.

Our recently refurbished restaurant, lounge and bar area is the focal point of the clubhouse overlooking the 18th green with spectacular views of the Yorkshire Dales.Skipton Golf Club started its life as Craven Golf Club on the banks of the River Aire in Gargrave. It moved to its present location in 1896 and became Skipton Golf Club shortly after, finally becoming an 18 hole course in 1980.
Being a member at Skipton Golf Club is special. It is a very sociable club with a friendly atmosphere and plenty of activity both on and off the course. Skipton Golf Club is currently open to new membership applications and the required forms can be obtained from our Business Manager or downloaded here.

Had lunch there. The menu has enough choice and the food when it arrived was well cooked and presented. The service however needs addressing, half of our group got served part of their meal then we had a longer than acceptable wait for the rest of the food. Tidy that up and it will be worth a return visit

Great challenging course. Unfortunately the weather was not in our favour so late in the year as we lost a fair few balls on the fairway. Would like to play it in the summer when hopefully the ground would be firmer. Greens nice and consistent.

Great course with stunning views and some tricky holes. Staff were friendly and very welcoming considering we were a couple of outsiders! A rarity at most other courses.
