The pub is served by its own large car park which gives level access directly into the indoor dining area and adjacent garden. Further Council-owned car parking is available nearby should the pub car park be full. Two integrated multi-functional play facilities will keep children sufficiently amused in a safe and enclosed environment.
The attraction of The Eight Bells is heightened by its bright, comfortable and modern indoor eating area complimented by a large garden, set adjacent Lukley Brook, and providing ample outdoor eating space. With a 50-seater capacity, our function room is suitable for use as a corporate meeting place, for wedding receptions, parties, wakes or other celebrations and functions.

Friendly, with good food and a nice range on the menu. The sweet course was a bit similar to most resteraunts at the moment so I just had coffee, but what I had was good. Nice size car park and the garden is lovely too if you visit during the day. They do seem to close very early in the evenings so you do feel a little hurried, but maybe on most nights at this time of year it's very quiet. Overall I enjoyed my evening and definitely would return.

The menu is limited as a result of Covid measures. The kitchen closes at 8pm so dont dally if you want food. The quality of the food is ok but not thrilling- two of the people I was with have said they won't be returning for a meal.
The staff are friendly, its clean, good car park, a reasonable outside area with good kids play equipment. Just a shame about the food

We were very impressed by this pub, it has a brilliant beer garden with loads for the kids to play on, better then most parks, it has views onto a beautiful lake with ducks and swans, its dog friendly with plenty of water bowls and vegan friendly, we enjoyed a delicious vegan korma and Moroccan stew which I would highly recommend and veggie nuggets for kids. They also had a good range of drink options - a hidden gem!

Nice family place to visit, I visited here on a Friday it was quite quiet at mid day.
There is plenty of things for the kids to do outside from swings, play equipment, bounced castle and more, a few it's of play equipment has seen better days now but it is all looked after and clean, the outside area is a lovely place to sit with some nice views. The car park is a good size as well. We didn't have any food this visit but when we have in the past we have not been disappointed.

Decided to try this pub again after a lot of years hoping the management change and food would be better. Unfortunately nothing has changed. Had a Turkey Xmas dinner and it came out having been heated up in a microwave. A cardinal sin! Cannot be a proper chef in charge at this pub. When I asked the management if this was the case, the subsequent silence and then offer to refund confirms this practice

Perfectly reasonable family-oriented pub. The barman that served me last weekend was a tad distracted & managed to pull me a pint of an ale other than the one I'd ordered but otherwise no complaints about the service. The place offers up a reasonably extensive menu as well as a good number of specials and seem to be quick at clearly indicating which of the latter have run out, thereby avoiding wasting anyone's time.

The Eight Bells is located off a rather busy, curved, side street, which makes entering and exiting the car park, especially in any big vehicle, rather awkward. If you can deal with this though, the ample parking space is located right next to the pubs very own, and rather large, duck and swan pond.
There is also a well tended beer garden adjacent to this, with a good quality kids adventure play area, both of which the ducks and swans come right into hunting for some food scraps.
The down-side of the Egiht Bells is the massive mark up on drinks, especially soft drinks. We were charged around
