Potters is one of the few original pubs left in Newport situated in the heart of the city centre adjoining Friars Walk Shopping and Leisure complex. We offer delicious, homemade traditional pub food at sensible prices and generous portions served all day, every day in clean, comfortable surroundings.
Lunch served from 12pm - 4pm Monday - Saturday | Dinner served 4pm - 8pm Monday to Saturday. Biscoff biscuit base topped with a baked cheesecake and finished with Biscoff biscuit crumble. Gluten free & vegan dessert made with a chocolate brownie base topped with a chocolate filling & orange sauce, decorated with chocolate crumb.
Why not join us for a delicious Sunday Lunch, with 1, 2, or 3-course options starting from just 9.95. All served with freshly cooked Roast Potatoes, selection of seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire Pudding & home-made gravy & sauces. Please ask waitress for Dessert Board Specials. Our menu will change regularly but will always include delicious home-cooked classic Sunday lunch dishes.

I love the potters, the food is lovely and fresh, it's good honest food and is reasonably priced, always served pipping hot too. The place has a lovely atmosphere and is spotlessy clean, from the toilets to the table and the staff are all friendly and always look clean and presentable. 5 stars from me.

Me and my Dad had a fantastic cooked dinner today at the Potters. Very accomodating service, quick and effecient which was what we were looking for. The dinner came out piping hot, which was great. Would eat here again and recommend.
