Herbert Fennell first opened 57 Church Street as a jewellers in the 1950's, and it has been Seaford's jewellers ever since. The shop continued to be H. Fennell & Son until 1973, when it was then taken over by Mr George Hunnisett, a semi-retired jeweller. Having already run jewellery shops in London and in fact still had interests in a store in Regents Street, he had retired to East Dean.

Aiming to be a one stop shop for all your jewellery, watch and clock needs, is our mission. Much of the work is done onsite but where our skillset does not match our standards, we work with a selection of hand picked, tried and tested craftsman enabling us to bring to you more advanced services.

We are always happy to advise on the potential value of your jewellery, however sometimes you may need a more formal, documented valuation for either insurance or probate reasons.For this, we work with a very qualified and experienced professional jewellery valuer, Julian Cousins. Your items are taken in by us, kept in our safe until Julian visits us and performs his valuation on site.

We have over 1,800 items of jewellery, watches, clocks and other items. On here we have slimmed down the selection and concentrated on ethical jewellery i.e, recycled, refurbished and repurposed items of antique and vintage jewellery.
