Overall was a pleasant stay, staff were friendly and hotel is clean. However a few points I would like to highlight;
Construction work was taking place so it would get noisy and inconvenient at times.
Breakfast choice was rather limited and quality could be improved.
Parking is a major issue, luckily we didn’t face any problem regarding this but it can cause anxiety once you leave the car park, you are not guaranteed a spot even after you have actually checked in and are actually staying at the property which I found extremely bizarre and frustrating. It makes you feel a bit unwelcome.

Booked an executive room at £100pn for 3 nights. Room definitely large enough but tired and needs the refurbishment which is in the process of happening. Always felt a bit gloomy inside irrespective of the time of day and had to have the lights on most of the time.
Location is good and Bruntsfield itself is great for coffee shops, eateries and independent shops and the large park opposite.
Walked into the city centre most days and caught the no 16 bus back to the hotel.
Would stay here again once the refurbishment is finished.

Excellent hotel in great location close to city centre.
Usher Hall, Traverse Theatre and cinema just minutes walk. Castle about 15 minutes walk and great bus service for those who require it.
Breakfast excellent and best of all, wonderful staff - would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

Good hotel which was reasonably priced as was the breakfast.
Located not to far from centre.
Parking is very very limited and the on street parking is both expensive and time limited to between 2 and 4 hours with no option of extending this. Staff were good.
Our only problem was the room was right next to the kitchen extractor fan which gave a constant drone from about 6am till late.

Stayed for a night and it was pleasant. The lady on the front desk was so friendly and really went above and beyond to help us without us having to ask. The room was nice, quiet and large and had a fan provided in the warm weather. Breakfast was really nice!! I feel the room (especially the bathroom) could have been cleaner as there were quite a few hairs on the floor and in the bath & shower. The car park is also much too small and annoying that you have to pay to use it (though perhaps if it was free it would get too full). However overall I was pleased with our choice of hotel.

Really nice hotel. Staff really helpful. Would recommend a room away from front of hotel due to passing traffic. Was very hot so the windows were open. Traffic is fairly constant. Breakfast was spot on with good variety. Something for every kind of taste. Wee men loved that they could have coco pops and then a fry up... happy days 😀. Would recommend a stay. Fairly central, with most things walkable of fit for it.

Stayed three nights. Found hotel to be Covid secure. Good location within a walkable distance to city centre either through the parks or via street. Excellent service from ALL staff. Food quality very good. Quite rooms allowing a good sleep. Very comfortable bed. One slight downside is the limited parking if you are driving. If we ever return to Edinburgh would happily stay here again.

The hotel and staff were brilliant, ideal location the big down fall is the lack of car parking, obviously the hotel can not increase the amount of spaces they have due to space but it is certainly an issue, I could not get a space on arrival and be aware that all the on street parking is pay and display ( limited to two hours) or permit holders only. You can park on the street after a certain time but would have to move or pay by 8am the next day, if you are on a weekend stay you are able to park nearby without restriction after 5.30 pm. Not generally one to moan but I specifically wanted on-site
