Room was fine, clean and quiet, staff generally friendly and helpful. However, a male member of staff let himself into a single woman in our party's room, looking for a leak to the room below, while she was in the bathroom and she emerged wearing few clothes to find a man in her room. She was surprised and scared. On reporting this at checkout, received a bland and defensive response and no assurance was given that the same would not occur with another single female traveller. Highly disappointing response to a reasonable concern.

Excellent location, right by the bus stops for the airport link. easy check in (online) so just picked up the key. staff responsive.
Disliked · Room is compact. rough around the edges. few plug sockets and none near the bed. no room service and had to ask for toiletries when we ran out. shower running hot, cold, hot… Coffee was undrinkable. for the price, would have expected more and at least breakfast included. would stay again only if I could get a better deal!

Room was clean but dated fronting a busy road so secondary glazing meaning you cannot open the window. Bed comfortable. Paper thin walls which meant poor sleep 2 nights in a row from noisy neighbours. One night the neighbour managed to bring back guests for an after party. Security at the hotel needs to be improved. Complained to management who dealt with it very badly.
and refused to issue any form of refund.

Clean room and shower room, comfy bed, hairdryer, iron and tea tray. However not very soundproof we could hear every little noise from our room. A lot of young people staying and they were coming in at all times so very noisy
Had a 3 night stay but wish we'd paid a bit more for a bit more luxury.
Staff were very friendly and helpful

I know Hotels do charge more whenever there is big events nearby or whatever, but asking over 190,-€ for this sad, dirty and moldy room is just not fair.
The room desperately needs some renovation, so do the hallways. Windows don’t open, not that you want them to because they’re facing noisy street. Not sure what the overall smell was, smoke or something else?
Place is very centrally located, so if you get to stay for 50,- bucks it’s probably fine, but upping the price because people are desperate to stay somewhere is just pure greediness.

It was alright, OK if you're just sleeping here and spending most of your time enjoying Edinburgh. The main issue was having a toilet too close to the shower. Had to use it sideways, no joke. No ventilation too, unable to open the window and no window in the bathroom. It was on the fourth floor and fairly quiet so no noise from the nightclub next door.
The room wasn't cleaned during our three night stay but the bed was alright and clean towels were always available.

Not the place to stay if you are six feet four and claustrophobic! Tiny little rooms with funny bunk beds and tiny bathrooms. Very little natural light. The rooms are down a wooden corridor and there's virtually no sound insulation, so be prepared to be woken by the inevitable drunk at 2:00 AM.
I'd spend my money on one of the nearby B&B's or the YHA round the corner.

Sleeperzs main selling point is that its very well located, right in the station carpark so perfect for that early morning train, but don't bank on a good nights sleep, its very noisy and the rooms are far from 5 star.
If you want minimal service and a room thats very small with a shower that involves placing yourself strategically so you catch the drip then this is for you and rooms start at £40 so its not all bad.
Sleeperz is simple and serves a purpose but only if you simply want to arrive, sleep and leave. I also didnt see any sign of a breakfast being offfered.
