Propped on top of Edinburgh's famous Three Sister bar, it's all about fun & frolics, but with no shortage of home comforts. A short stroll from anywhere, we have 37 bedrooms arranged by size. They go- S, M, L, XL, XXL and DORM, and all rooms are packed full of those little extras guaranteed to make you feel warm and fuzzy inside.
At Stay we work hard to reduce the noise in our bedrooms, however, due to our location and depending on what is happening around us during your stay, you may experience the type of noise you can associate with a bunch of people having a really good time. All our guests will enjoy free & plentiful wifi, large flat screen TVs, rainfall style showers, Bluetooth speakers, and arrival treats.

Excellent location , it's a hotel with a very nice atmosphere , your room is equipped with gaming console and arcade gaming table . Very good customer service . It's located near the three sisters pub , so expect a very lively weekend . If you're visiting Edinburgh for tourism and wanted something "different" for your stay it's a great choice . Excellent rooms and very cozy beds.

The room was good and the location was even better. However, if you want to sleep, forget this hotel. It is located next to an incredibly loud pub with parties lasting until 3am, and from the room you feel that you're in the middle of it. They do not warn the guests about such parties and when you complain they tell you that is your obligation to know that the hotel is located in a busy street, next to a bar and that they have poor soundproof walls (you can also hear everything the guys from the next room say).

Much to improve in terms of friendliness at the reception.. Furthermore, a lot of noise from the party next door until late into the night but the volume reduces at 1 or 2 AM.
Room was good with a nice shower and as depicted on the photos. Location was great.
However; I wouldn't return and would go elsewhere if I had a choice.

This place was excellent found on booking.com. There was a small issue with the room at the beginning but was soon fixed, the staff were friendly very knowledgeable of the area, was able to give us some very handy tips. As for the issue we were compensated and given complimentary breakfast and the staff could not be more apologetic. The breakfast was delicious absolutely beautiful and there was an amazing selection. Rooms were clean and tidy and the amenities were great. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again.

Two stars on the hotel ranking as it is hostel service but suited to our requirements. 6 people share 1 toilet and shower, and everything is clean and well presented.
It also has The Three Sisters hipster pub and garden which has live and dj music, is massive, super busy and cool if that's your want. You are still part of the party even to early hours in your room where you can hear people singing at the top of their lungs bashing out anthems.
Take towel, pillow and lots of bottled water and you could have a great time.

Half hotel half hostel, but my friend and I got a regular two twin bed room with a private bathroom. Super cute, simple, but clean and easy location to all the main Edinburgh attractions. The pub next door did party into the night which was loud, but that wasn't such a big deal. Very affordable if you're looking for hipster feels.

We stayed here for four nights, Monday until Friday. Upon arriving at 11:30 pm we found that we had to pass through an outdoor bar to enter the hotel lobby. ( See pics) We later discovered that there was an additional downstairs and upstairs bar attached to the hotel. Upon questioning the noise level our receptionists stated that it got "busy" on weekends.
We were given Room 106. Rooms 105 and 106 are annexed off the main hotel and may only be exited by a hallway and stairwell shared with the upstairs bar. Our window provided a partial view of the outdoor bar.

I agree with most of the other reviews here. This hotel is amazing. Starting with the front desk staff, my experience was excellent. We were welcomed with friendly staff who were genuinely happy to help us with anything we needed. We received a room across the courtyard and up a set of stairs. It was our own private oasis! There are only two rooms on that side of the building, accessed only by a key card to get into the hallway, and then a physical key to get into the room. The room was huge with 4 beds, a desk, a wardrobe, and a good size bathroom. The room had hardwood floors which made

This hotel is perfect for the right people (which is why I gave it 5 stars).
This is not a quiet little day spa. You don't come here for a "peaceful get away."
This is for someone who wants to be in the bustling heart of the city and experience the culture, art, and nightlife of Edinburgh. The hotel cradles an outdoor drinking court. We were there during the Fringe so that may explain the shout-singing till 4:00AM and the jumbotron facing our room. But just be aware that your room MAY face a drinking area.
All of that said, the rooms were a great size, beautiful and I could

This review is really 4.5 stars but I'm going to round up. This is probably one of the quirkiest hotels I have ever stayed in and I loved it. This is in a great location in Edinburgh, close to everything Old Town. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well stocked with lush amenities. We didn't take advantage of their running club or parkour workout but I imagine that's fun too (though I can't imagine running in Edinburgh with all its hills, my calves ache just thinking about it). Overall, me and the S.O. loved this place. Two things though: 1) The

I can't believe there are no reviews!
stay central holds true to its name. 10 min walk to pretty much everything you need to see (except for new town). a perfect location and very modern. has a very friendly staff and atmosphere.
the running club they do on wednesday was great (although it was myself and the trainer). very pretty run around St. Arthurs seat.
the pub attached gets pretty crowded weekend nights which makes for a fun time.
