Foyers Medical Centre are working through the Priority Groups as outlined below and patients will either receive a phone call or a letter inviting you to attend for your vaccine from the Practice team. Adults aged 16 to 65 years in an at-risk group, including adult carers. See table three of the Greenbook for further information on those who will be included in group 6.

Asthma - patients are eligible if they have ever had an admission specifically for asthma OR if they are on inhalers (prescribed in the last year) and have required three courses or more of oral prednisolone in the last two years. Please note that we are using the definition for an unpaid carer as set out in the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016.

If you have a non urgent enquiry please call the surgery between the hours of 08:30 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 17:00. If you need urgently speak to a Doctor after 6pm Friday until 8am Monday morning please phone 111 NHS24, Freephone or in the case of an emergency call 999. The staff at NHS24 will ask you for information about your health and condition and will advise on the most appropriate course of action.
She has particular interests in women's health and family planning and is a GP trainer. Originally from the Black Isle, she did her GP training in Shetland where she worked as a GP for a couple of years, working with a special interest in obstetrics, before relocating to the Highlands in 2019.

Community/District Nursing services have also been reorganized in the Inverness area and most of our nursing care for our Practice is provided by the Inverness East Team based at the District Nurse Office, Inverness and can be contacted on the Single point access number 01463 888333, please ask to speak to the district nurse east team.Our Health Visitor/ Public Health nurse can be contacted on 01463 706700.
Caring for someone can be a full-time job - find out about accessing breaks and respite care. Help claiming benefits, looking after your bank balance and understanding the legal issues of caring. Advice and information on helping the person you look after get the benefits that they are entitled to.
Your clinician would like to see a photo to help with this consultation this will allow a more accurate diagnosis and plan to be made. The clinician dealing with your care will be able to see this photo, and it will be stored in your records. In future, other clinicians and administration staff who are bound by confidentiality, will also be able to see this photo in your records.
