Asthma - patients are eligible if they have ever had an admission specifically for asthma OR if they are on inhalers (prescribed in the last year) and have also required three courses or more of oral prednisolone in the last two years. Services
Please note that in line with all NHS Scotland, the surgery phone lines will be closed on the following dates. If you have a non urgent enquiry please call between the hours of 08:30 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 17:00. The phone lines are restricted to urgent calls between 17:00 and 18:00. The staff at NHS 24 will ask you for information about your health and condition and will advise on the most appropriate course of action.
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

Following recent turbulent negotiations it would be supportive and helpful to patients if all Practice staff could be named, job description detailed, and Locum names clearly stated plus contact email addresses, hope the sudden change to our health commitment is smooth and successful.

80s local medical practice. Small car park to the side with enough space for 8 or 9 cars. Ramp to front door and plenty of room inside. Large reception area and waiting room.
