Services
Keyhole surgery is a minimally invasive way of performing surgery. A small camera (laparoscope) is inserted through a 5mm incision into the abdomen to examine the internal organs via a magnified image displayed on a monitor. Special instruments are inserted through another small incision to allow delicate tissue handling.

Unfortunately after some 8 years and 5 dogs I have to post a poor review. I challenged a charge for the very first time and asked for the matter to be referred to the independent veterinary mediation service. The practice refused and fired me as a client. I had 2 old dogs one of which has subsequently died. The practice wanted me to find a new vet well knowing how vulnerable the dogs were. Anyone would think I touched a very raw nerve! I had been very happy with the service I received over the years but the change to smart new premises seems to have brought about a marked difference in attitude

The team at Park Hill Vets were literal life savers for us while on holiday in Devon. Our eight month old lab fell ill on the first day of our holiday and needed some urgent intestinal surgery and Catherine (the vet) and the team couldn't have been more accommodating with seeing us as an emergency and then happy to set up all the follow up appointments we needed.
Honestly if we could, we'd ask they transfer the practice to where we live! They were really empathic and helped reassure us throughout, offering advice and keeping us updated. Winnie has since made a full recovery and we just wanted

Please stay away from the vet called - Anka Dumitrescu. Very rude and unprofessional. She was so nasty when my dog was really ill and when she told us we have to put her down. No sympathy at all. I don’t think someone like this should even be a vet.
All the other staff are really lovely except this vet. We were really devastated when we got told we have to put our dog down and she didn’t make it any easier😢
Still makes me so upset and angry that she was taking care of my dog😢

Critical: Professionalism
rip off!! you'll be greeted with a caring nicely nicely approach on the phone only to be mislead when you actually visit the place. was told we wouldn't be charged for a quick consultation only to be charged £34 for 3 minutes! there should be a law against these con merchants. very disappointing service.

Fantastic vets, always lovely, friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. When my Rhodesian Ridgeback goes to have her dressings changed (which is every 3 days for months due to her condition!), she always has the same nurse so she is now comfortable with her and happy to let her do it. The staff seem to genuinely care about their furry customers. Well done Park Hill, keep doing what you're doing!!
