Our vets work hard to earn the trust of our patients and you, their owners, by providing exceptional veterinary care. We have a dedicated farm animal team of 9 experienced, highly skilled and enthusiastic vets. We have a couple of exciting job opportunities for dedicated individuals to join our dynamic, friendly team.
Services
We are a friendly practice in Crediton, Mid Devon with seventeen vets which has evolved over 65 years. Our aim is to provide a high standard of care at a fair price, along with professionalism and approachability. We offer a personal service with high standards of care. At St Boniface you can expect up to date clinical treatment from professionals who genuinely care.
Tony Kemmish essentially lives and breathes cows. Principal of an expanding mid Devon mixed practice he spends his life immersed in the day to day intricacies of dairy farming. He qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 2002 and headed home to the West Country and St Boniface Vets. After 5 years as an assistant he took over the practice in 2007.
The practice has invested in quality diagnostic equipment to allow rapid and accurate identification of problems. We are also committed to minimally invasive surgery and investigation, so that where a procedure is essential, the impact on the pet is reduced. With 3 dedicated operating theatres and modern surgical equipment, we are able to offer a good first opinion surgical service.
At St Boniface Vets we offer a comprehensive equine service providing high quality veterinary care to the equine community in Mid-Devon. We care for all types of horses from competition horses to much loved ponies and everything inbetween. We offer a 24 hour emergency service, 365 days a year. Our equine department offers a range of services to help you manage all aspects of your veterinary needs.
All animals undergo an individual assessment from which, in conjunction with the owner, a rehabilitation plan is formulated. We are happy to assist with animals belonging to clients registered with another veterinary practice but only in conjunction with the animal's own vet where consent has been given by them.

This morning took my Bichion Frise Lily for her very first appointment with the practice as we have just moved to the area
We had a wonderful greeting at the reception and Lily whole experience being a nervous dog was very positive as she was extremely calm coming out after her appointment
The vet explained everything throughly to me and I felt that lily had been looked after and very happy
Such a relief that I have found such a lovely caring team
Thank you

Thank you so much Joe, you're a brilliant vet. I felt that my thoughts and observations were taken onboard, and that my own research in exotics (rats) wasn't dismissed. I really appreciated being listened to, and dear Rosie has since made a full recovery. I won't hesitate to bring the other 10 rats to you in future 😅 A vet that listens to a pet's owner is so valuable.
