The worst spa experience ever at Le Kalon. The team at this spa needs some serious training in customer care and generally good manners. Have never experienced such unprofessionalism from a single person in what is supposed to be a high end establishment. Very disappointing.

Stuffy, musty, run down. Impossible for me to believe the reviews are real having stayed here. I cannot comment on the food as I wasn't about to try it seeing the condition of the room. We did receive breakfast with our room rate but did not use for reasons aforementioned.

The lobby is nice. The furniture AND carpet in rooms, stained. The room walls, dirty. The bathroom tubs are worn.
The staff, odd. Nothing about this hotel is legitimately 5 star if the reviewers are looking beyond box checking.

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago for two nights and was really disappointed. It's in a great location near Hyde Park, which is definitely a plus. They also have a small gym in the basement, which was quite handy. Other than that - everything else was a turnoff. Our room reeked of cigarette fumes as if twenty people had just lit up in there. Even the bathroom towels smelled dirty. They evidently allow smoking in most of the rooms as every room we saw had a "smoking room" sign on the door. Luckily, we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Also, while the lobby and staff were

Amazing hotel! Rooms are so spacious. You really feel like you have your own Palace in London. The outside of your room has a doorbell. We had a beautiful chandelier hanging in the middle of the room. Room was very clean and big. Can't wait to return wish I could've stayed longer.

The hotel is fabulous staff are friendly and very helpful. When you pull up in a car the staff insist in helping you with luggage and bringing to your room. The beds are comfy and clean. There are odd signs of ware and tear on furniture but nothing that is obvious and sticks out. The breakfast is ok there could be a little more options but otherwise a very nice place to stay.

The WORST afternoon tea experience I have ever had. If i could give no stars, I would.

The best advice I can give regarding The Bentley Hotel Afternoon Tea is just don't go. It is highly overpriced for what you get. The service was appalling. You could do almost anything else with your money, and it would be a better use than to wasting your time going to this afternoon tea.

After being seated, we were given champagne after 10 minutes. The food came out after 30 minutes. We were never served tea AT ALL. We sat there for a total of an hour and 15 minutes, and were never given any

One of my favorite hotels of all time! I savored our English breakfast each morning. The room was so charming. The hot coffee or tea brought to us on beautiful silver trays. The croissants were the best I have ever had. Located on a beautiful and more residential street, our room overlooked a private garden. Everything was luxurious. A short walk to Harrod's, Hyde Park, and other attractions. I look forward to the day when I may return!

My wife and I stayed at The Bentley for my wife's birthday, for three nights. We had an amazing stay, and I would recommend this hotel to everyone (and really hope I will be able to stay there again soon). The hotel's decor, and its service, made us feel like royalty without charging us royal prices :-)

The hotel and our room were very posh, with a marble bathroom (with both shower and bath!), gold plating, carpets, chandeliers (also one in our room!), and a lot of other beautiful details which made us feel like British royalty. Our room, even though it is the hotel's smallest

I went here for a proper afternoon tea on my last day in London. My friend and I got a great deal for a champagne afternoon tea through TimeOut London. We were quickly escorted to our seats and promptly served our champagne. Our server was very attentive throughout, not checking in too much, but always making sure we had everything we needed and taking away the empty serving dishes.

The sandwiches were good. I'm not a fan of fish so I couldn't eat most of what they offered. The scones were absolutely delicious though. They were served warm and were the perfect combination of firm on

Having previously lived in London and knowing what a luxurious experience high tea can be, I wanted to take a friend of mine to commemorate her first trip to London. I found a Groupon for tea for two, which was a great deal so we decided to try the Bentley. I found it strange that they brought everything out at once. Every other afternoon tea I've ever been to brings the food in courses -- first sandwiches, then scones, then pastries/desserts. The pastries got a bit soggy and warm by the time we reached the last course, but since it was such a good deal, I didn't mind so much. The dining

I took my wife and 2 daughters to the Bentley for a proper London high tea. I bought a deal on Groupon for almost half off! after reading some good reviews, and boy were we not disappointed. It was a partially sunny nice 10 min walk from our place by South Kensington station. The service from the staff was very good. They were back often enough to satisfy any needs you might have but not intrusive in the least. We also were made to feel extremely relaxed and welcome to stay for a long while. The seating is comfortable couches and a nice table setting of linen and china. Not any special china but

The Bentley Hotel is one of my favorite places to stay in London. I have also held a couple of events at this hotel. What draws me to it is the beauty and splendor of every single corner - from the plush, carefully decorated suites that speak of a bygone era of glamour - to the intimate marble entrance that makes you feel as though you've stepped into a story.

I was happy with the service of both the hotel staff and the event managers who made the effort to ensure we were taken care of and tried to accommodate our special requests.

The Bentley is also well situated for a new visitor to

I like this place...but somehow the plumbing is always messed up. Last time I was here there was no water the morning before we checked out. This visit, the shoer only has scalding hot water, but the tub is fine.
There is no one here this week. Apparently just me...haven't seen another soul. Management sent up chocolates and water -- very nice touch, and upgraded me.
The room is serviced very well...haven;t eaten here.
Will be back. Great location -- 1 1/2 blocks to tube station. Nice neighborhood.

It really helps if you're Hilton Gold when you stay here. My fiancee is, and we got a room upgrade and free internet for the entire stay. Sweet. Extra sweet because we were in London during the ALCS and my fiancee (bf at the beginning of the trip) is a rabid baseball fan, so we could watch via (free) streaming internet. Check, and check.

The service is amazing. See, I'm American, right, and our notion of good service is you get it done, and you get it done fast. The Bentley got whatever we needed done quickly (I have never seen towels arrive from housekeeping in 3 minutes) and

So stayed here for business for a few nights, and it was a reasonable price so I didn't get into trouble, but it does lack some modern conveniences that one grows to expect. It was a beautiful place and the staff was very attentive. Very regal, chandeliers, whirlpool tub, etc. But no wireless. They had a hard line that you could pay 15.99 pounds for 24 hours, and two computers in the lobby for use. Not thrilled by that. And the gym was a couple of old treadmills, an ellipitcal and a set of weights in the lower level with the spa. Which again was very pretty, and I had a nice massage

London hotels are incredibly expensive, so to find a hotel of this quality at an affordable price was a real result for us. We used the online service splendia.com to book and got a great deal for our 5 day stay with them. The hotel itself is dripping in opulence, gold fixtures galore, antique furniture and enough Italian marble to pave a football field greet you in the foyer where the super polite staff are ready to greet you (the over the top look is not my style, but it makes you feel like a cheap movie star)! It has a bar, spa, gym and restaurant for your use. The rooms are large by any standard

It was my mums big birthday and me and my sister always take her out to a nice hotel for afternoon tea. I chose the Peridot at the Bentley because of a recommendation. It turned out to be an excellent choice.

The Bentley is every bit a 5 star hotel. Peridot is the restaurant in the hotel. Apparently we read that all the pastries and cakes are created and prepared daily by Peridots Executive Pastry Chef to ensure freshness and attention to detail. This was indeed obvious from the quality of the cakes and pastries.

We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings which is full of natural light and there is
