In a busy world we can often get caught up in the stress of day to day life, we rush around without really noticing how we are feeling. I teach simple Mindfulness techniques to clients to help with stress, anxiety and many other issues. What is Mindfulness?

In a nutshell Mindfulness is a simple meditation, focusing on the present moment with acceptance of the here and now, acknowledging your thoughts, feelings and how your body is feeling at that time without judgement and without activey trying to change anything.Mindfulness can help us understand ourselves more, and can make us more aware of when we are starting to find life stressful, this helps us to know when to take action to improve things.
STRESS is something that everyone experiences at some point in their lives, and in a mild form can be a part of everyday life. Life can be very stressful at times, this can be for a variety of reasons such as work / college related issues, relationships, finance worries, illness, bereavement, fear, lack of confidence, not living the life you want to be living right now.
M.E (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis), also known as Chronic Fatigue (C.F.S) has a wide variety of symptoms including, exhaustion that does not improve with rest or sleep, muscle and joint pain, sleep issues (insomnia or sleeping too much), cognitive issues / brain fog, stomach problems, headaches, and depression (often as a result of the symptoms of this illness).
There are a number of different approaches to Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) is just one of them. When having CBH we will look at your thoughts, beliefs and feelings about your particular issue, and we will discuss this and challenge any cognitive (thinking) errors that you may have.
