Services
Crake and Mallon Funeral Service was established in 1971, by my late father Robert Crake. Robert - known as Bob, who was originally from East Rainton, in County Durham, and began his career in the funeral profession in 1940. He moved to Stockton in 1956 as a funeral service manager and then set-up his own business in 1971.
We understand that the thought of arranging the funeral of a loved one is distressing. Bereavement leaves many families shocked, unsure of what to do and unsure of what their first steps should be. Our staff have a wealth of experience and through our 48 years in the funeral profession we have helped many families through a most difficult time in their lives.
She began her career in 1979, dealing with administration duties within the Company. In 2006, Alison decided to expand her knowledge by going into further education and in 2008, she graduated from the University of Teesside with a Master's degree in Business Administration and Enterprise. Immediately after this she became a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
After losing a loved one, most families get in touch with us by telephone initially. Our staff will ask for a few preliminary details such as the full name and address of the person who has passed away and the address where that person has died. If the person has died at home and the doctor has attended we can, if the family wish us to, make arrangements to move the deceased to our Chapel of Rest.
We understand that many people have concerns about how they are going to meet the cost of a funeral and any associated expenses. Options include an interest free 0% credit option, a reduction in our professional fees for prompt payment (for funeral expenses only) and a deposit payment followed by the payment of the balance once our invoice is submitted to you.

The standard of service and care we received was second to none. Lee and the whole team were caring and empathetic, which made organising Mum's funeral so much easier. The attention to detail was fantastic and made this difficult time a great way to celebrate Mum's life, giving us positive memories which has meant such a lot.

We cannot recommend this company highly enough. From the very first phone call to the final goodbye, they were right by our side, even though we were based "long distance" due to Covid19 rules. Chris Black was kindness personified, and we will always be grateful to him for his help, compassion and professionalism. Huge, huge thanks to all x
