Border Osteopaths
Border osteopaths have clinics in Shrewsbury and Kington and is a partnership run by Diana and Richard Mann who are in their 25th year of practice. We aim to get you back on track by giving comprehensive treatments, setting aside a full hour for all consultations to get a more complete picture of what's behind your symptoms and plenty of time for treatment.

We may show you exercises or give other advise to aid your improvement at home and during work. We treat a wide range of muscular-skeletal conditions so please take a look at our What we treat page for common complaints. If you don't find your symptoms listed here, please call us to talk about what you're experiencing and discuss whether we may be able to help.
Services
We have lived in Herefordshire for six years and have previously been coming to the Welsh borders for many years. We both graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in London and have practiced osteopathy for over twenty years. We previously worked and lived in London and Dublin before deciding to move to the borders.
Facet joints at the back of the spine are commonly implicated in both acute and chronic back pain. Acute injuries to these joints can cause severe pain, sometimes after the simplest of movements. With careful management, acute symptoms generally settle quickly. These joints can also be compromised by wear and tear (arthritis), often exacerbated by poor posture.
When you visit us for the first time we will explore how osteopathy can help you and what kind of treatment is likely to be most effective. To do this, we need first to understand your symptoms - what they are, when you experience them and why you think they might have occurred. We will then complete the case history, including relevant medical facts, to build a fuller picture of what else may have contributed.
Our clinic is at the Flexspace site on the Battlefield Enterprise Park, 15 minutes from the centre of Shrewsbury. There is a large car park next to the building and inside there is full disability access throughout. If you're new to osteopathy and would like more information on how we work, the Your First Visit page goes through what to expect from your initial consultation and how to prepare for it.
Our Kington clinic is in a terrace house with a few steps up to the front door, so we offer a home service for our clients whose mobility is restricted. Please call 01544 239210 or email us for details. From Leominster: Take the A44 west towards Kington. Carry on through the High Street into Church Street, turning right at the War Memorial into The Square.
