Services
We are blessed with experience, energy, pride and passion for what we do and who we do it for. Woodsome Hall is a special place and therefore it is vital we have a special team. Karen is Woodsome's House Manager and has been with us for 30 years. She is the fountain of knowledge for us all and makes sure everyone knows what they are doing.
The Hallas Room is located on the top floor of Woodsome Hall. It overlooks the first hole and is very popular for private meetings, especially when a boardroom setting is required. A large table with a drop down projector can accommodate 20 + delegates. There is a breakout room adjacent and a private kitchen and bathroom available if required.
We are all still learning how to operate the new WHS handicaps and understand the slope index requirements. We really want everyone who visits Woodsome Hall to have the best possible experience. We have built our reputation on high standards and being a traditional members golf club. This includes a dress code that we expect all to abide by.
We are a team of volunteers who want to help our Juniors excel with their golf and have a lot of fun in the process. Rick is the General Manager of Woodsome Hall and is also currently the Welfare Officer. He is available on the club number 01484 602 739 and if there is an urgent matter or a Junior needs to speak in private they can ask the office to contact him.
Welcome to Woodsome Hall Golf Club, a picturesque parkland course with breath-taking views, located in South Huddersfield, just off the A629. Played at this course for the second time. This is a beautiful undulating Park land course. For those golfers who have difficulty walking I would recommend a buggy. Unfortunately when we visited the greens had been hollow tined and were very bumpy and slow but I would visit again.

Had a walk to come here as the walk itself is beautiful, the grounds upon arrival are beautiful, from the moment you approach the gates and walk up the drive the views are breathtaking, the lawns are in such amazing condition and you can see that great care is taken to ensure that game play to above and beyond par, (no pun imtended) I come from London and work in the are and I had to come here and look at Woodside for myself as I had loads of great feedback about the Golf Club, and I was not disappointed at all, staff were very helpful (Jake) and gave me all the information I required, all I can

Wonderful old hall which is now home to the golf club. Denby Dale Rotary have their meetings there, and I went along one evening. Terrific atmosphere, lovely staff and great food. The fireplace was so huge that I could stand in it, and it has the names of the people who originally owned the hall engraved in the mantel.
What a wonderful place to have an event, with beautiful views down the golf course too.
