The course will be open on Thursday but the 1st will be a temporary green until work on it is completed. Maldon Golf Club was founded in 1891 making it one of the oldest in Essex and the country. Our par 71, nine hole course provides easy-walking, many mature trees, water hazards and true greens. It also offers 18 different teeing grounds to maximise the variety.

Services
Although Maldon is a nine hole course it offers 18 tee positions, maximising the variety for members and visitors alike. This sweeping right-to-left dog-leg hole requires a solid drive followed by a long iron or fairway wood for most, hopefully leaving no more than a short iron to the green, although the big hitters may try to reach in two.
Our Clubhouse offers golfers, old and new a warm welcome and is available to hire for private functions. The brick Clubhouse with its huge green roof dominates the scene from its central position. Inside, a large lounge welcomes you and glinting bottles behind the bar tempt even the most abstemious A comfortable coffee lounge and patio area provide an alternative seating area.
Maldon Golf Club is a members' club and as such we focus on giving the members the opportunity to have the best golfing experience possible. We have a reputation for being a very friendly club and we run most competitions and swindles with a draw for partners and a shot-gun start. This helps to integrate new members and in a few weeks they have played with a number of different people and get to know many more members in the process.
We have a reputation for being a very friendly club and we are happy to assist you in organising a "Society Day" or Charity Event. Packages are tailor made according to numbers and catering requirements. Limited Green Fees on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays unless accompanied by a Member. There are some reserved tee times at weekends which can be booked directly with the Club Secretary 48 hours before play.
